I truly do not mean to offend, but to play the devil's advocate here: could it have been he was unsatisfied in the relationship and so went to look for answers, and the redpill is what he found? Angelo, first off, I want to thank you for making this video. Your help is always appreciated and the messages you’re fomenting and preaching are highly needed nowadays, to of which, I thank you. I wish you talked about negative perceptions (specially those that may be deeply rooted into oneself). Things such as self insufficiency, self hatred, self sabotage, etc etc etc., and how these translate to the diverse areas in your life (most importantly dating. I remember being into this one girl, but as soon as she started talking about how she owned her family business and spoke about all of her job and laboral history. Basically, I del “emasculated” or uncomfortable because, in my perception, she was more mature and successful than me, which sabotaged any chance of construction even a friendship with her) Sorry for my unsynthesized texting format, but apart for my likeness to use a more complex form of words and sentence making (for the sake of it) I wished to portray my inner thoughts into this comment. Overall, another thing I wish it was more talked about (in case you have any experience dealing with the next issue) is solving “poor mental focus” and intrusive thoughts; random memories related to internet memes and video games and whatnot; basically brain rot, this is another major issue I haven’t seen attended anywhere (think HealthygamerGG had a video on this subject called “25 year old thinker”). Thank you Angelo or whoever stumbled across this comment for reading, have a good day.

As a 45 year old father of a 17 year old boy, I LOATHE all of the red pill bullshit that he is (or likely will be) exposed to - and I welcome this unbiased and refreshing viewpoint from someone who clearly has his head screwed on. That said, my take on this is always that ultimately all of this is caused by simply trying too hard to be something that we're not. If there's one thing I've learnt in the last 20 years, it's that being yourself, unashamedly, and unconditionally, has far better outcomes for your mental, social and spiritual wellbeing than following any particular social doctrine or political bias. Still, I'm from another generation - so, I applaud this video. Great work!

I’m 20, I don’t have a father I’ve never been into the red pill shit because I can see how poorly directed it is and it’s simply not that true but emotionally I recognise I’ve internalised it. It’s a part of me now and it’s holding me back. I have no self confidence or self esteem it makes me very unattractive because I am insecure, I don’t take pride in myself or my body. For the sake of your son don’t let him turn out like me. Encourage him to take pride in himself, his self image to build his confidence, encourage healthy social interactions I.e. get him a hobby, a sports club or something. This will allow him to make friendships with both sexes and should eventually lead him to be romantically successful. Then he won’t need this toxic weak mindset that has a death grip over young men. This is because his romantic success will be proof of concept that the red pill is hateful bs. I think it’s great as a parent you’ve looked into the challenges of current young men and I hope you can safeguard your son from this mindset, good luck.

Or another time he somehow connected witchcraft, feminism and declining birthrate? While not even explaining what parts of those beliefs are "making people childfree"?? 3:53 Carl Jung, the guy with the the “make the darkness consciousness” is the same guy who invented the mbti system, which many people know from the 16personalities test. Originally, he used it as a way to put similar people in a group, and figure out common weaknesses and insecurities in them, as well as solutions to their problems. For instance, ExTPs have this huge need to feel loved by everyone around them. The solution to this, is to learn not to care what others think about you.

I remember when red pilled used to have the specific meaning of having become aware of the ways in which society is being secretly manipulated. I don’t know when it shifted to mean something to do with relationships between men and women, but I don’t understand it and find it annoying. When I clicked on the video, I still had the original meaning in mind. Anyway, no need to watch the rest of the video. Obviously, a real man finds a good wife, starts a family, and stays married to the same woman for life.

No, obviously a good man first finds himself. That's the message of the video. It's worth a watch. I also found several other videos from this creator quite insightful.
@artugert26 күн бұрын
@ What you said didn’t contradict what I said. Finding yourself is obviously something everyone should do, and in fact, that is the very purpose of life as a human on this earth. But it’s a process that takes a long time, and historically very few people have completed the task. So it’s not something you will do “before you get married “. Anyway, what I meant is that I am already married with children and on a spiritual path, so this video didn’t seem that useful to me.
@Jill_P3 күн бұрын
@@artugertThis narrative that "real men obviously" find a wife, start a family, live happily ever after, and any deviation from this prescription removes your "real man" privilege is EXACTLY the kind of problematic message that is the source of this discussion today. It alienates sooo many whose path did not work out that way-- nevermind those who never wanted one or any of those things in the first place!-- and it can be a very toxic message that keeps men, women, and children trapped in harmful and abusive situations. After all, if you admit finding and knowing yourself is a lifelong journey, what happens if you realize your partner is no longer a good fit? This stuff happens, and we need guidance and solutions, not just moral condemnations and judgements. That is what this whole topic is about, and whether you recognize it or not, we are all effected by it. Just because you feel this content isn't speaking to you because it isn't part of your current journey, you should still take time to listen and consider it because your children will certainly be exposed to all of it. Receiving open-minded and proper guidance from their father on these subjects is less likely if you never look outside your own narrow world view, or you don't recognize the issues because you believe they never effected you personally. Heaven forbid your "real man" status is similarly revoked for giving problematic, outdated, or uneducated advice to your own family, and your child ends up being sucked into a toxic ideology that results in much suffering and requires therapy to untangle, right? That's why "pride cometh before the fall" is such an important, and still relatable, message. It is when you believe you've got it all figured out that you'll realize you never did, and it was never as simplistic as you made it out to be.

Its easy to be contrarian, and the new contrarian is to be counter contrarian. But the great folly and strength of youth is thinking you've got lasting paradigms figured out in your youth. It takes a lot of variety of experience and time and maybe some guidance to really come towards wisdom. Wisdom is not acceleration but duration or load under time in various novel experiences that gradually become familiar. The sad thing is we would do better to wait years to speak our view on things, once we've matured and understood our position. But the shortcut is to be young and offer some kind of certainty and finality to a viewpoint instead of humility. Humility isnt rewarded by youth. What is rewarded is saying this is the way it is and thats that. Its easier to absorb and sounds better. Its comforting to the world to be like that But actually its more i dont know and let me try this then evaluate over anything else.

Why do you pursue power it will not be the thing you would desire when you are weak and old, power is of lesser importance then companionship of a life time. You should never pursue power, instead you should peruse a real, life long connection with another human, it will not leave you empty near the end of your life, on your deathbeds. We men are not some inhuman specie which should and is naturally ordered towards the lust of power, some of us our but we should not think of them as fuller people then we, they too pursuing the wrong thing. Sex should never be your goal but instead true connection should be as it will leave you fulfilled. power corrupts in the sense it makes you obsess over itself, it is a sign of maturity when you reject such things, which leave empty in the end.

think of what qualities you always admire in others. what draws you to someone else-whether they’re cool or extremely disciplined or kind or charismatic-is usually representative of the personal qualities you wish you possessed more of. alternatively, if you have a vision for who you want to be, you can think of what kind of things the person you want to become would do that you don’t do. those will be the actions and strengths that would lead you to be more of your ideal of self

The harsh truth is that the red pill is going to make men over think how to communicate to woman. I got too much information in college and from 21 to 26 I have not got any action. The first 3 years of college I just was out meeting people and learning from my mistakes so hung out with women. Just work out, dress better, slow your tone and be direct of what you want to do with a woman. If you as a man have a crush on a woman either it be left, right, cheerleader, goth, tall, BBW....just talk to her. Of course for obvious reasons look yourself in the mirror and say are you actually somebody you want to be. If the answer is no, do not approach them.

@@lazylurker2842 Many dudes act like a woman is an algebra problem to solve. It is not hard, make your self presentable, ask her about her life and ask for her opinoin on things in your life. This whole RP crap is taking simple concepts and cranking it up to 11. Many dudes should know by now to do the basic work, but they hide from it. And another thing for the men, once you guys are starting to cuddle and makeout just ask her what she likes to do in bed. The whole mysterious thing is BS.

In the beginning, there is lies, propaganda and delusion. (blue pill) Then there's realization, feelings of betrayal, anger and depression. (red pill) Finally, there's understanding, acceptance and moving on. (black pill) The red pill isn't making people weak, it's an incomplete phase. It's supposed to be transitory not an end-destination. Problems will arise if you stay on that phase, but it is also necessary for growth.

From what I ve seen the black pill is more like believing everything is genetically determined and accepting that you got the short end of the straw. But only looking in shallow/obvious things like height and other “looks” genetics. There is no actual introspection or attempt of self mastery. You can argue they are doing the opposite of introspection when they convince themselves that they are ok with never finding a partner. I completely understand why someone would go through a black pill phase but it certainly should not be a destination.
@asdfasdf-dg2qx6 ай бұрын
@@KostasAlexiou0 You're half right. The black pill is indeed about determinism, but there actually is introspection and attempts of self-mastery. It's the acknowledgement that you cannot change your circumstance, only yourself, and then it wants you to look inwards and determine who you are. Determining who you are is dependant on your actions, thus these are actions of what you'd call "self-mastery". Sadly, what you desire in life and what one can achieve are two different things, and it is sadly very often that basic needs of (sadly, more and more every year) people cannot be met; Love - Acknowledgement - Respect - Acceptance etc. will for some , never manifest. That's just life, and should be accepted. If that means that life itself isn't something that brings you joy anymore, so be it. That sadly is life as well.
