79tazman I remember the episode when he Sanford had a Dr. make a house call . And the Dr which was one of his comediene friend. Start examining him, and kept saying humm! Humm! Sanford stated what is wrong. The Doc stated, I DO NO KNOW. And Sanford ask him “paraphrasing” why he do not know. The comediennes ask him. Do you know how many Dr will not tell you that they do not know? And Sanford commented that he did not know. And ask the Dr how many? And the Dr replied,”I don’t know? I bust up laughing. He would always invite his chitlins circuit Comedy Men on his show. SANFORD AND SON!🥰

I've heard about this show for years but have never seen an episode, so to see Redd Foxx, Don Knotts and Billy Barty on stage together for the first time is a historic moment of earth-shatteringly epic proportions! Akin to seeing Buster Keaton and Charlie Chaplin teamed up for the first and only time in Limelight. By the way, "Bob", whom he talks to offstage at the end, is the late Bob Einstein, aka Super Dave Osborne, Marty Funkhauser and brother of Albert Brooks.

This is the year I was born. Sometimes I think I was born 20 years too late... My dad *was* 37 when I was born... he could've got it done sooner! ...Then again, that would've made my mom too young.... well even if I was born in '67, instead of '77, I still would've been 24, when Mr. Foxx died, so I could've caught one of his 1980s shows... RIP, Mr. Foxx... a *TRUE* COMEDY GENIUS!
