I think it’s cool. Sure we’d want games with content like the old days… but content they can’t really build on back then… it HAD to be finished… while todays gaming they can put you in during the alpha stage and you as a community help them build a game. Which is crazy but the journey is still cool. Being able to watch a barebones game turn into this overwhelming experience full of content… is amazing.

The problem is rather that even though newer, live service games can get better after they release, they should still release in a state good enough to keep around the hype for when the updates drop eventually.

Yeah, no new weapons and vehicles is almost an insult. Game companies add new characters with different abilities to their games almost every season that last 2-3 months. How is Halo unable to add all their weapons and vehicles?

Wow. Macro, I've never seen a video of yours before. I was a PS kid growing up, and I'm a PC adult now. In 2021, I played through the entire MCC in preparation for Infinite. 1:23 Everybody most definitely did not think the graphics looked great during that showcase. I remember watching Angry Joe’s live stream of the reveal and he kept saying, “Is it just me or does this look way worse than the trailers?” I remember thinking it looked ugly too, specifically the hexagons with light reflecting off of them and the odd looking shield recharge effects. It definitely looked much better at launch.

I want them to add expansion to the campaign, it wasn’t terrible honestly, I just needed more to do in, the HVTS where a good idea, taking bases, helping lost squads, really solid, and you can’t leave us in a cliffhanger.

Awesome video my man! I can’t lie, during season 1 and 2 of Infinite, morale on halo was at its all time low. I thought Halo was literally dead in the water. The biggest gamechanger, however, was the new leadership. I’m hopeful and happy about halo again. It has been a very long time since I could honestly say that.

I’ve been playing on and off since Season 1, with Season 2 being the longest break I took from the game after finishing the BP. I have been enjoying it quite a lot but my main gripes with the game currently are desync and the ramped up SBMM that didn’t feel as present in the past seasons. Other than those 2 issues, the gameplay is great, and that’s why I will continue to play it

It’s improved so much I’m looking for halo stuff to do when I’m not playing halo. If only I had a tv show to watch that didn’t make me have violent thoughts. They should really add a campaign like reaches so I can actually see my armor more often, maybe a better Spartan ops that has cutscenes with the player character.

As someone who has been playing since the first Halo Infinite flight and has maxed out every battle pass and has done every event, it is so good seeing the game finally thrive. And you know what? I called it way back in season 4. Season 4 had 5 events and they would usually come bundled with new modes or maps. For the first time I was actually excited for each event that was coming to Infinite and having witnessed 343 finally nail consistent updates I knew Season 5 was going to be a tipping point for the game. And I was right! Not only that, they've reworked the events to be fewer in quantity but higher in quality which is great and it seems like we'll get a new one every month!!!

This games been fun asf since S3 it really took off at S5 though the only things that really piss me off are the amount of maps in ranked there’s barley any and how slow they are to add weapons and equipment they should at least be adding 2-3 new weapons and abilities every season instead of just 1 of each

The campaign was…meh. Just meh. The only redeeming qualities I can think of are the music tracks and Chief’s relationship with Blue Team. The multiplayer is a lot of fun though. Some of my best memories are from Halo 5, but I still wish I was born when Bungie was making Halo games.

Another huge thing that Infinite is doing is eliminating all types of fomo. Battle passes don't expire, Shop items are available at anytime, and event rewards won't be gone forever if you miss them. It's good knowing the content will always be there and never get taken away unlike other F2P games

I seriously cannot stress enough how good forge has been for this game. I am not joking when I say that half the maps in matchmaking are made in forge by the players. I truly think forge is the single best thing they have added just because of the fact that it just lets the fans make maps for 343 and they can focus on other stuff instead.

What the hell are we paying for if the fans are producing half the content? The whole defence of microtransactions was because we get free consistent content. So far 95% of the maps post launch are fan made and all the new content is just content we had in previous entries. Forge is cool, but adding forge maps in the multiplayer completely nullifies the point of in game spending. The existence of the shop, or at minimum the outrageous pricing, really needs to be questioned if we are including fan content (the vast majority of the maps are no dev made) in mulitplayer.

I'll never abandon Halo as long as the developers are working with the community which 343i has done. They haven't been perfect, but I've enjoyed each Halo game for their own specific reasons. Halo Infinite isn't my favorite Halo, but it's still Halo and it's come a long way since launch. And I've been here every step of the way 🤙🏾

I still think the campaign needs an overhaul - inclement weather, wildlife, split-screen and maybe a couple of side quests to encourage new playthroughs? Release a campaign expansion alongside the battle royale, framed as a 2.0 relaunch and the game could genuinely be amazing.

Pc has far more players overall (globally) and steam charts has Infinite at 3000 or so players on average. And no, having it show up on game pass is not indicative of its success on xbox's given Halo is their IP which they control. Also, after updates the game saw a small number of increase player base only to precipitously fall back down. I understand gaslighting is in the vernacular zeitgeist right now, but do you understand the cognitive dissonance employed in your comments. You are trying to paint the picture that Infinite is alive and well when the game has been abandoned by nearly everyone. Look at steam charts, look at forums, look a twitch streamer numbers., look at exceptionally long queue times. The picture has been painted, Infinite is being played posthumously by a small number of players.

Season 5 got me back into playing Halo. Where Destiny 2 and Bungie are failing, 343’s stepping up. Now I’m just hyped to see what’s gonna happen for Infinite next, and see where Chief’s story’s gonna go. I’m really hoping that we get to fight Atriox eventually. 🙏🏻🙏🏻

I played Halo Infinite on launch and I loved it instantly, I left only once for 3 months between Season 2 and 3, I finished the S2 Battle pass and I didn't have a motive to play, after S3 launched I was right back in and I never left since, almost 2K games, and almost 400 hours later, I enjoyed thre game every bit and I spent like 150 USD on cosmetics and the Battle Passes, I'm so happy that the game is finally being revived, I'm currently grinding for max rank for Chief's armor, and I'm on that Onyx Ranked grind, and I almost finished the S5 battlepass aswell, welcome to everybody new to the game, I hope you enjoy your stay.
