Hi Jake, The first product you showed (KPM water pump) has a huge Hollywood Stunner in the tank with the pumps! That was my stunner that I grew in my 220 mixed reef.I loned it to my friend to take to MACNA and I`m so happy to see it in your video..Keep up the great work with these presentations..

Oh Nice! Yeah many of us marveled at the large size and unique shape of that Echinopora, thanks for sending it on a 'field trip'.
@richardmiller64227 жыл бұрын
Reef Builders I really appreciate that and also you taking the time to respond..I love your articles and video's..Would be thrilled to show you my 220 but I don't know how it would fare against the tanks you profile ☺

Been waiting for a good coverage vid since I couldn't make it there because of Harvey here in Houston, thanks so much Jake!

Best coverage I've seen. Macna should pay you to go to this. It's made me want to go and I live in the uk. Keep it up.

Aww thanks Salty, that's the best compliment of these show videos you could make, and I'm working on cranking these out daily until I've got everything out

You got it, it was just a one day stomach bug, if that hadn't happened I could have had this up on friday. But hey at least the 'health delay' wasn't a health-cancellation.

Really nice video. Thx for showing The Stax's rocks.

Those Marco Stax rocks look awsome.. will definetly use that on my next build! Thanks for the coverage! (though a wierd buzzing noise throught the first half of the video).

It wouldn't be a major aquarium trade show without the Mindstream "in action"... I await to see how much in action it really is in later articles/videos. However part of me fully expects to see it "in action" in Las Vegas next year.

That pump wasn't like an ecotech, power cable is running into the tank, which means the motor (and heat) will be in the tank. Ecotech uses a motor outside of the tank and magnets to spin the prop. That wasn't much different than any other power head except it isn't suction cupped to the glass.

I'm pretty excited to try the live aquaria salt. I use instant ocean but wven that has alk around 10-11. Hopefully the live aquaria salt keeps the price low for boxes and buckets
@Mike__B7 жыл бұрын
Be careful with it, while I'm not saying anything bad about it the Fritz brand salt that seem to be on everyone's radar nowadays has had lots of reports of ALK dropping dramatically when left to sit for any amount of time.

Not that I want you to be sick. But I think it was a good thing you were able to walk around and take it all in. One, for yourself - ya big "reefgeek" and like you said you got a feel for it. Instead of just walking around aimlessly like some of the other youtube sites. At least you weren't fixated on the Ferrrari like some.

Being a California guy, that definitely is close enough for me to swing! Yay for west "coast" MACNAs (some of us don't have the luxury of taking 3 day weekends for fish stuff :D)
