Yeah the Anouki! So underutilized. I'd have loved to see them in BoTW/ToTK because someone made a fan concept of what they'd look like if they weren't chibi and they looked really cool. Kind of like the Zonai like Rauru and Mineru but with thick coats. Given they are kind of sheep like creatures.

Yeah, they probably would've revealed the RIto if it were them, but Hyrule never had a snowy region until they kind of borrowed Termina's Snowhead (or Snowpeak) in Twilight Princess, and then retroactively added the Hebra region to put the Rito there because the Gorons still had Death Mountain as their home. There is the Anouki, the only snow based species we ever see in Hyrule, but they're from New Hyrule after the flood, assuming Phantom Hourglass doesn't actually take place in a dream or alternate dimension. We see them canonically in Spirit tracks though in the northwest snow region where Hebra would ultimately go though. Still yeah, I don't see why they'd hide the Rito from appearing if it were them, but then again.... I'm not sure the Rito were meant to be snow beings, as it feels like they were just placed there cause it just gave a reason to explore the snowy areas and have something there.

not really, there's a LOT more races, for example: the kikwis in ss, the mole guys in ss, the kokiri, the zonai, those snow guys in the ds games, those weird chicken guys in tp, and there's probably some more that i haven't listed.

Still wish they'd bring back Manga Volvagia, where he was a genuine friend to Link.... at least Valgo from Hyrule warriors (a reincarnation of Volvagia) does kind of have a redemption in the end and is technically "good" as he only acted for Cia because he was brainwashed. I'd like Zelda to have more Good dragons. but sadly looks like this one's a boss fight.
