Richard Cantillon wrote his essay on economic theory over 300 years ago and wrote about how poor people or regions have more children than the more affluent. This has proven to be true for quite some time. Thanks Mr. Sowell P.s. I had lunch with my Pops yesterday were we both discovered our mutual very high regards for your thought process, we had never before realized we shared this admiration.

An interesting insight into the culture of the US. Going to church & praising gods is not a part of my personal reality. But I certainly can see the positive influence that Christianity has had on western civilization. I can also see the effects on society, particularly in the anglosphere,where Christian values have fallen away only to be replaced with an alternative religion, wokeism.
