RBH is his only real option, if he wants to win grand tours. It’s a perfect match for both sides. One more year of co-captain with Primoz, who tends to crash out of big events, and from 2026 he will be part of the BIG 3 for years to come.

In ‘26 Remco is a free agent. So I see him do another year at QS and then just go to Red Bull. Having Specialized and Dan Bigham as aero engineer there are definite plusses.

Hypothetically, if Remco were to move to Bora RB for next year and if they can convince Roglic to go all in on the Giro-Vuelta double, I think it could work. Remco could be their Tour leader while doing the spring classicals, while Roglic tries to go for a Vuelta record and get a bonus Giro which may be low hanging fruit if Remco/Jonas/Tadej aren't there. I believe that Roglic almost certainly wont win a Tour in his career, whether or not Remco is a teammate. With the level/age of the others and his own history with it, its a monumental task. So why not go all in on the Giro and Vuelta for the rest of his career. I would do that if I were Roglic, but that might just be me.

I still recall how Bora treated Oeter Sagan at the end, so no, Reno don’t go to Bora.

@CyclingDane, Evenepoel has said that conversations broke down when the other team wouldn't let him use Specialized. He has indicated that he has been with that company from the start and wants to keep riding with it. So bringing up all the other teams that don't have Specialized and won't be able to switch due to long term details are just speculations that isn't founded on much. Specialized makes that deal perhaps possible, him going to for example to ISR is just extremely far fetched.

C'mon, Soudal Quick-Step is the only team for Remco... look at his results!

I don't know what's best for Remco, but what's definitely not best for the sport is someone as big as him joining and boosting one of the teams that are being used for sportswashing and greenwashing operations - Israel and Ineos respectively in this case.

Red Bull wants to establish themselves within cycling. Spending around 30 million to have the service of Evenepoel for 4 years I think is quite a good deal. Roglic can ride enough races and with him winning the Vuelta even leaving I don't think is the end of the world for RBBH

if he wants to win the tour or even has a remote chance of maybe beeing able to do so he has to go to redbull. quickstep is just not good enough in every way.

You missed the obvious. Remco needs to be bought out of his contract - so any team that wants him has a $10m up front fee to pay first.

As a huge Remco and Quickstep fan, I find these Remco transfer rumor videos that happen every freakin year, to be tasteless bordering on offensive, as if teams feel entitled to steal our only GC rider.
