@@dnc3861 yes they do care. In fact they care about videos out their cars on youtube, instagram and tiktok. These kind of videos reach out to alot of people. this video alone got 10k views. Add more reviews like this and it will add up to 100k easily. Now imagine if 100k saw 5-10 videos of negative reviews of the car. That will add up to brand recognition and sales. There is a reason why german brands are really struggling in China and if they come to EU, the germans will be very afraid and in trouble.

BMW’s are looking ugly these days, the kidneys grills are way too massive, the dual ICE/EV platform is a way for them to get some EVs on the road while keeping the ICE look. I checked out a BMW i5 Laing with the iX line and the car in this video seem longer then the one I saw in HK, the rear cabin is larger. I recall European vehicles typically get a longer version in China and I’m guessing that why this looks different. The seats look like the ones in the iX, boring. The HK one had sports seats with good bolstering, I’m fairly sure it had M-Sport package. I’ll say though, the BMW cars typically have steering wheels that extend out a good distance to allow drivers to get comfortable, I like the Zeekr 001 but, I believe I would have an issue with the steering as well. Geely is making use of tech from across it brands but, they seem to not have it all sorted yet. For example, Polestar 4 has a RWD long range version that should come with the Zeekr 001 RWD motor as it’s, Polestar, a performance car, sadly it was a missed opportunity for them. At the rate they are going, Zeekr may get more buyers than Polestar. Thanks for another great video.

BMW does not require chinese SIM card with master account activation to enable the multimedia center and most of the control functions, but Zeekr does. Also Zeekr 001 can be turned off remotely and effectively becomes a brick, if the Chinese feel like it.
