I can't believe he turned the light on in the darkroom. It's called a darkroom for a reason.
@bakersmileyface5 жыл бұрын
@WeeStrom CO Guy It's still a risky move. I was told to always keep white lights out of the darkroom. If any photogenic photos get caught in the light, they'll turn black. Even when the photos are hanging out to dry it's still a problem. There were strict rules that as long as there was a single photo in that room, the lights had to remain off.
@jackpast5 жыл бұрын
bakersmileyface not sure if that was the problem as the door was open, showing all exposures were done. I think he was berating the kid for doing his own developing with the owners materials.
@evanking67375 жыл бұрын
once the photo is "fixed", the light wont affect it anymore
@parahumanoid5 жыл бұрын
@@bakersmileyface, how many have you developed? Drying photos are simply drying. That's the way it went when I assisted my older sis in photo processing. Light is no longer an issue at that point. After the developer is done doint its work you rinse the photo and submerge it into a fixing agent solution. Once that is done, one final rinse and out to dry you go.

How I enjoyed this film! It's a beautiful, wholesome story that is marvelously told and filmed. The time period is my grandparents' generation but the authenticity took me back to a time when they told me their stories and showed me their photos. The acting, the music, the sepia-like coloration - all superb. I was very impressed by the way the central characters drew me in - it takes quite a talent to do that in short format. My hat is tipped to everyone involved in its making 👏🏻👏🏻
