When they’re talking about the Marvel “Gods” they’re talking about things like the Celestials, Thor, Odin, Heracles, Galactus, Eternity, Knull, etc. The One Above All is obviously different. And the issue isn’t that they’re bored of Gods but that they’re sick of each new God in Marvel being “the most powerful” God yet. Which just gets boring after the last 600 times they did it.

Isn't Chthon a child of the Demiurge?? Demiurge was the equivalent to Eternity but on a planetary scale rather than Universal The Embodiment of Earth's consciousness that divided himself into the Elder Gods out of loneliness. These beings are probably Solar or Galactic level at best i would think At least at base without any power ups

Turns out Dylan brock kept something from his past selves like he was the one That destroy the world that’s how venom world came to be Present Eddie Brock knew this so did future Eddie Meridius But The Eventuality told Dylan brock how to defeat his evil father Meridius Kang was the one who turned symbiote into part machine him and meridius The Eventuality is guiding Future Dylan on his mission But Meridius master plan was not to merge and become the Eventuality What if Meridius plan for Dylan and the Eventuality plan for Dylan have something In common that we don t see??? If Future Dylan don t recover some of his memory I wouldn t be suprise that the TVA Will recruit him and he will become an agent for them? Can t be a coindence that we saw Loki at the end of the book who in the MCU Was working with the TVA coindence??????????

Marvel should just do away with “Gods” altogether. Instead of placing these outrageous amounts of power in beings, I would be more interested in stories in which the power is attainable to ordinary beings. The best marvel comic stories are the ones in which the competition was close, and the stakes were high. But when you introduce the concept of being who already have the ridiculous amount of power, it eliminates the aspect of competition, because who can really combat these characters if they are already so OP. I’d rather hear a story about how the living tribunal became the living tribunal, instead of a being who is already there. Let me also say that I do not have a lot of comic knowledge, and I know these beans have origins and what not, but I hope what I’m saying makes sense.

What is the most powerful power? What power lies at the heart of every other power? Now in religion God has 3 powers: omniscience, omnipotence and omnipresence. With these 3 no “task” is impossible. Unfortunately all 3 are required to accomplish any task. Because any absence of one or another of these 3 mitigates what one can “do”. These 3 are complete. Or are they? Is there another power missing? A power without which all 3 don’t matter? A power needed for all 3 to be necessary? What could that power be? Is it a power? Is it the opposite of power? A middle power? It certainly can’t be the absence of power? Not a reason for power? Not a logic for power? Not a belief or an opposing belief (skepticism)? What would make God, who possesses these powers, necessary? For that matter what power makes a human being necessary?

I've watched you since _before_ you started DC Explained, man, you've never put Chthon on such a pedestal, and every time you've ever talked about the Hell Lords and Old Gods, you've always said they're about equal, with _some_ variance in their abilities (accurate).
