Some tips, the bar on the stereo hud thing below indicates you how much time it will take for the ball to be thrown, with more power it takes more and becomes noticeably slower to "fire", but checking that bar allows you to get ready for your shot while the other person already hit it, (raptor ult is casting twice for an instant shot, this nullifies that charge time for higher power levels), and another thing, chipping it (hitting the ball to arc it making it purple) decreases a little power and hitting it in a downwards angle is the way to achieve more power per shot

So the best way to counter Jets special when the ball turns into a bubble is just to grab the ball. Since it slows down if you can reach the ball in time you can just use grab button.
