"The day that I will remember all my life will be the moment we landed our beautiful A380 back home in Abu Dhabi on the 10th of March. As humans, emotions play a very big part in our lives, and the pride, joy and excitement I felt will be a milestone of my flying career."
The return of the A380 into service is a milestone moment for the entire Etihad family and our loyal guests. However, it was also an emotional one for Captain Jihad Matta, who delivered the aircraft to storage in 2021, and has flown their return home this month. We are proud that emotion and love is a part of everything we do.
