There’s a lot to think about when it comes to buying your next car. One of the first things to consider is, where do you want to buy it from: online, a dealership, a car supermarket, or even a boutique store next to a shoe shop at your nearby mall.
There are more options than ever, so if you’re a bit nervous about the whole process, or just don’t know where to start, this week’s REV takes you through the car buying process at Seat’s store in the Westfield shopping centre, Carshop’s car supermarket in Swindon, and online on the Auto Trader website.

Inane content - " I loved the convenience of be able to combine my car shop with my clothes shop". One shop is semi regular of maybe a few hundred quid the other far less frequent of many thousands requiring research and a lot more thought and commitment. So making a special trip to a dealership etc and properly concentrating on that huge purchase that will financially bind you for years to come is hardly a bad thing.

car buying for complete beginners - fair enough - but nothing about paying a good/fair/market price (do you pay list and is list an inflated price??) PCP - you pay interest on it, is it more than a bank loan, and did you spot the big, up-front "deposit" or initial payment, the mileage limit per year, and the fair wear and tear clause? Cars are not yet "white goods" (not quite) caveat emptor
