Involved in Charity works himself and on behalf of the Company as well also not to mention he placed many New Talents over him in matches giving them lot of bright opportunities. Took horrible injuries, humiliation and hatred from fans throughout his long and super successful career head on and always walked out of it like a Pro unlike other Pro Wrestlers who loose their temper even for small taunts or tease by the fans. Belonged to the legendary class of 2002, alongside Brock Lesnar, Randy Orton, and Batista. Has won the most "I quit" matches and never lost, 5-0. Won the WWE championship in 4 different occasions at 4 of the biggest stages in WWE history. @lancethefilmguy93923 жыл бұрын
I always resented the fact that Smarks booed him during that time. This would become a problem that continues to this day with other top guys. I guess they were doing their best to get themselves over. What's ironic was he wasn't even stale yet compared to his 2010s character. But I guess it was simply the cool thing to do. What's even more ironic is that he wasn't always booed. For instance, when he went to a Smarky City like New York, he was obviously booed. However, when he went to places like Mississippi, he would be cheered by the fans. There were even some Raws and Smackdowns where he was cheered, as well as certain PPVs. This might explain why Vince McMahon was hesitant to turn him heel because it would depend on which city WWE was in. In fact, this is why he had a Mixed Reaction from the crowd and it would become a part of his character. Also, contrary to popular belief, Cena DID NOT bury the Nexus. According to Chris Jericho's third book, it was Vince McMahon who made that decision. What Cena, Edge & Jericho were discussing was HOW the Nexus would lose at Summerslam, which Cena suggest that finish. But remember who makes the final decision: Vince McMahon. I remember in late 2010 there was a rumor that he was supposed to turn heel in his feud against both The Rock and CM Punk. Heck there is even a heel song called Beats Rhymes and Life that was meant to be his theme. Unfortunately, Vince McMahon got cold feet and we never got to see his heel persona. I remember watching an interview about Bray Wyatt in 2017 and he said that him & Cena knew that he should have won at WrestleMania 30. But of course, since Vince McMahon is so stubborn, he want to have a happy ending for the kids and that is why Bray Wyatt lost at WrestleMania. I wished he did turn heel because I think fans would have respected him more had he been the bad guy. It would have been cool to see him pull a Hollywood Cena character and mock his critics who turned on him for the sake of being cool. Regardless if you like/dislike Cena, as Joe stated in this video, you cannot deny that he is a future HoF and will go down as one of the best in WWE history. 👋🤙🤙😎

John certainly isn't blameless in burying people over the years. You said it yourself, Cena had a hand in suggesting the finish against Nexus. When you're as big as John, you have a lot of pull with the writers and big Vinnie Mac himself. He's squashed a lot of upcoming talent over the years and he could easily have put his foot down and said "ya know, I don't think this is the right way to go". You can chalk that up as him being young and egotistical, obviously in the last few years of his career he's been way less hesitant to put others over.

John Cena takes more pain than any body in the rooster He sells Finisher moves barely pin off to survive on it He casually showcase different types of movesets to the point he Showcase his creativity and agility rarely we seen such as the springboard stunner and the sunflip power bomb and displays super human feats of strength through out his career He sets history records of having 16 time world champion Cena is like superman And he will be my Model Hero That motto " Never Give Up " Is very iconic And his Fireman' s carry slam position Is much very like of how you carry the several kilograms of Rice or any stuffs that requires your shoulder to carry on it If your a Filipino you will know what I mean specially if your a worker That is the reason why John Cena is my Favorite of all time and deserves to be One of the Greatest

Bruce Prichard talked about 2:42-3:15 on the episode of his podcast where he & Conrad Thompson discuss both the debut & career of John Cena. I believe he actually confirmed that John Cena almost got released sometime in mid-2002 before his "Basic Thug-A-Nomics" gimmick took off in the fall of 2002 & he also confirmed the whole "John Cena was over-heard rapping on a bus on the way to a show, one day." story.

Yup, Mysterio rikishi and Cena would freestyle during the bus rides

@@shashwat3653 that's the problem with smarks like you Yes buried people but he is still the greatest, why? Because he learnt from his mistakes By having a total beatdown against Lesnar at SummerSlam 2014,By organizing the US open title and unlike Goldberg whenever he returned he never buried people after 2015, he did put over Owens,strowman,Nakamura,styles, Balor and even reigns But idiots like you only hate him for his super Cena run from 2009-2013 and doesn't appreciate his redemption
@akdasgupta98183 жыл бұрын
@@shashwat3653 Lol? R u serious? Lesnar is a GOAT in his vicious MMA techniques which is qte unsafe to the pro wrestling business . But when it comes to strength even Big Show in an interview claimed that there is no guy in WWE who can compete with Cena's strength not even Lesnar, he is the most safest worker in that ring hence respected by most backstage and also he is the king of promos. Sry to break this to u but unlyk Brock Cena is far more dedicated to the pro wrestling business even though he became a Hollywood star now that's what a true GOAT is lyk if u don't know.

And I understand how older fans didn't like how Cena was becoming this cookie cutter Superman like character but they should have realized that the company was heading towards a different directions and they were catering to the kids and I don't think they don't realize it's not that easy being the face of the company that's a heavy burden to carry. And if they were in John Cena's shoes they will probably understand
