In the movie, you can hear the intercom say "danke" to Deckard. There's a bunch of German being spoken too. And also, in the new film, there's an anniversary of the Soviet Unio being celebrated... and the database replies back in Japanese. And in one of the alien films, forgot which, you have the Japanese military intervening in one of the facilities, accompanying Weyland...

In the 2002 pilot episode of Firefly, Mal Reynolds is seen using a machine gun turret in a flashback sequence, and at the top of the turret's targeting system, the Weyland-Yutani logo can be seen. Firefly was created by Alien Resurrection writer Joss Whedon. In the 2004 episode "Harm's Way" of Angel, Weyland-Yutani is revealed to be a client of evil interdimensional law firm Wolfram & Hart. Angel was also co-created by Whedon. In the "Sniper" series of novels by Alan D. I really agree on this. I've actually run pen and paper role playing games in this "Ridley K. Whedon" universe. Reavers vs Xenomorphs is always fun. I think you missed the whole Dollhouse tie in, tho. They could have been a direct competitor to Weyland or Tyrell Corporation.

wow, so..... I'm with you guys on the blade runner, fire fly, wayland, alien connections.... but.... I don't think a high-tech Nazi jet is quite enough evidence to link the man in the High Castle to the other three movies. I know Nazis built the first Jets but technically they stole the design from the engine from an Englishman and it was actually another Englishman after the war who figured out how stabilisation fins would make super sonic travel possible. serious problems if you think the Nazis were going to get help in the same way the Americans did to advance their supersonic jet research project. also I can't imagine any society that stems from a Nazi occupation or an Imperial Japanese Occupation allowing quite so many minorities to have jobs such as Starship captain or I don't know go on living. I also can't imagine why English would have become the standard language for all those people in the Firefly universe or the alien universe. it also doesn't make sense why Chinese would be the secondary language shouldn't it be German and Japanese since you know I don't know the to Imperial Powers spent so much time effort and energy trying to stomp out Chinese and Western culture respectivly?

The movie Soldier with Kurt Russel also definitely takes place in the same universe because it takes place during the battle of Orion which is mentioned in Roy Batty's monologue before he dies and there are M41A assault rifles used in the movie. I think it's possible for ghost in the shell to take place in the same universe also because the Geisha androids have white blood and there are also tons of similarities in the settings in Ghost in the Shell and Bladerunner.

Awesome theory! But...What about the huge importance of Chinese culture in Firefly? This is all predicated on the axis powers winning WWII, but the Chinese were aligned with the allied powers. That's the only detail that keeps me from completely and totally going along with this. But hey, I guess this is all fiction, and I'm probably over analyzing this...

Oh and just to add there was a BBC TV series about the consequences of Hitler Winning. and also a rather interesting Japanese manga and anime called Tigers of Terra which is also about the same thing and I think that is also the plot of the last Wolfenstein game too. Don't feel bad about it though as the idea is that "Our world" Europe especially was run by Communism for decades and is / was coming back from that - so just imagine the same idea but with a far right extreme to recover from instead of a far left one. That is pretty much the point of Tiger of Terra too - those kinds of stories are actually well "Hopeful" ones - in some ways at least. As they suggest the darkest of times can be conquered or at least superseeded or built on. And if it gets Humans off Earth then it's a Universe that did it's Job - I doubt ours will be so fortunate.

As of 2012 aline 3 and resurrection also aren't considered cannon. predator 1 and 2 arent cannon nor related. nor are Firefly or high castle . however blade runner and alien share more similarities than just Easter eggs. they share a similar aesthetic that was clearly taken advantage of in Prometheus when showing shots of the ted talks by peter weyland on earth you can clearly see a neo tokyo style city in the background and on earth in old peter weylands room you can make out a pyramid under construction in the background. which mirrors blade runner. my guess it was the intent of ridley scott to include easter eggs in to alien in blade runner and then when making Prometheus melded the aesthetic and included the little bts file as an attempt to vaguely connect the universe in a way the leaves it up to the viewer to decide. be sure to check blade runner 2 and alien covenant for connective tissue.

The only plot hole to this theory, is that in the Firefly/Serenity universe. The two remaining super powers on earth were America, and China, as the characters speak fluent Mandarin as easily as they speak English. So, how is America a super power, if it's in the same universe as Man In The High Castle, where Japan, and Germany are the super powers? What dramatically changed from the Man In The High Castle universe for America/China to become a super power in the Firefly/Serenity universe? That's not even taking into account that in the Blade Runner/Alien universe where the earth is run by mega corporations, and not nations? So, how can you logically reconcile such a huge flaw in your theory? I really would like to know.
