@@Urbansteader Those directions SUCK. I NEVER put mine in for that long and know when to flip it. If you follow the directions, your croissant will be burnt, dry and tasteless. I had one last night and my stupid partner followed the directions! I ended up eating a foam sandwich that chipped my tooth! Never again with the directions! NEVER FOLLOW THE DIRECTIONS. Hell, even I know that for Top Ramen noodles! I add extra chicken bullion myself and never fill it to the top with too much water! NEVER FILL YOUR NOODLES WITH THAT MUCH WATER! ALWAYS USE LESS AND DON'T FOLLOW THE DIRECTIONS!

I always leave a few in the fridge so they're thawed when I go to heat it up. When they're thawed, I open one end of the wrapper and microwave for 50 seconds. BUT once the timer gets down to 15 seconds I throw a Velveeta slice on that bad boy and it is SUCH a game changer. Making sure it's already thawed is so important and makes a huge difference if you think ahead.

I noticed that doesn’t matter how I do it, the egg stays cold while everything else gets really hot. So I just take out the egg and microwave it by itself for 50 second and then put it back to the sandwich and 30 seconds each side. It turned out great

Thanks for the simple yet effective BF sandwich heat up tip! I have heated a 1000 of these things and every time its the same where I have to take it apart and heat the halves separately and still have one side of the egg, bread, or cheese either super crisped or still cold Lol. The directions on the box tell you to first wrap it in a paper towel and place on a microwave safe plate. So him telling you to use a paper towel and wrap them is not new!

@@chadfield376 After watching this video, I actually came to the conclusion that it's best to defrost in the fridge overnight, and follow the defrosted instructions on the box. It heats evenly, and the bread does not get hard as long as you don't overcook. For my 900w microwave, 50 seconds wrapped in a paper towel resulted in the best one yet. Heated evenly throughout. I think defrosting is the way to go! Just have to put one in the fridge the night before, and find the right amount of time for your microwave.

As a Jimmy Dean breakfast sandwich expert (i.e., a bachelor), here's my approach for doing two from the freezer: 1.) Wrap in paper towels, with the cheese side down. Defrost for 4 minutes at 30% power. 2.) Turn them over and cook for 1:50 at 90% power. 3.) Unwrap and fix the tops if they've slid off. Let them cool because they'll be as hot as a MF... but they'll be done all the way through. 4.) If your microwave melts too much of the cheese onto the paper towel, reduce the 1:50 time, or go to 80% power. I should know... I eat way too many of these things. I figure there's no sense waiting for me to croak before getting the enbalming process underway.

have literally eaten thousands of these, never once have i had to turn it over. we just crack the plastic bag 3/4 open cook 1:12, leave in wrapper (this keeps the bread moist and delicious) and wrap in paper towel a minute while it cools down, add salt, pepper, cajun spice, sing my jimmy dean song and me an my little dog enjoy! (my dog won’t eat her own food till she gets a bite of my jimmy dean sandwich, she dances and hops around, she gets so excited when i sing my jimmy dean sandwich song).

Man you can find anything on YT. After many too hot(soggy) or too cold attempts, here's what I do now. Peel off the croissant and put it in the toaster. Nuke the rest 55-65 sec on a plate--no paper towel--900W MW. Put it back together w/ a little crushed black pepper. Best results so far. Oh and Randy Taylor is the man. Whoops just saw same thing below from ajenks--Its a winner.

I like the taste of Jimmy Dean and most frozen breakfast sandwiches. Problem is microwaving them. Either the sandwich comes out with hard bread at spots or the cheese is mostly melted on the paper towel. So I don’t buy them anymore. I eat breakfast bowls by Jimmy Dean or breakfast Hot Pockets.

See my comment above. They warm more evenly if you just keep them refrigerated. If you store them in the sealed wrapper as they are, they stay fresh in the refrigerator for a couple of weeks.

This is how I've always done mine; just figured everyone else knew to do this. Do the same for left-over hamburgers/cheeseburgers(fast food versions that are already made for you); though with those cut them in half or quarters so they get done all the way through, and you don't need to wrap them up, just 10-15 seconds, flip, then another 10-15 seconds.

The way I used to make these was to life up the 4 corners of the plastic pack and microwave it while it was in the pack, I'd leave it in there for about 3-4min but cheese would be all melted everywhere. It was still very good just messy. This is kinda like how my mother cooked them for me, the way it shows in video. Very awesome awesome awesome video thanks!!! ❤️ I am watching at 3:16am ✨😴🥱

I keep a few in the refrigerator and they keep a long time. When you microwave make sure the top bun is centered otherwise it will slide off when the cheese starts to melt. 45-48 seconds in a 1000 watt microwave works well for a refrigerated sandwich, and then you can pop in the toaster oven and toast for a short time to toast the bun if you don't like the bun too soft.

I’ve noticed the shape and size of the plate I use matters quite a bit. If I use a regular size dinner plate the center is always cold still. But if I use a small five or 6 inch plate it cooks perfectly. Damn thermodynamics.
