Bear McCreary did an amazing job with the soundtrack and a worthy successor to Howard Shore!

Bear McCreary did an amazing job with the score for the show and his score quickly became one of my favorite scores from the past 3-4 years. I must admit that even if I really didn’t like the show.

This soundtrack was incredible with the finale, that episode was just fantastic! It's clever how the song doesn't sound perfectly beautiful, there's something rough about it that reminds me of Melkor when his music distorted the music in the beginning. I guess I can here the shadow of Sauron's deceit coming through, and though there's a poetry to it, it doesn't sound in tune with the music. That is wild.

I wonder if Where The Shadow Lies is going to be the theme they use for the One, or if it is more of a theme for all the rings of power.

Awesome score that can easily stand next to the scores of other great series, and the score of the LOTR movies. I wish the same could be said for the writing in the rings of power =/

The only thing you can save from this epic scale disaster: music.

Indeed the creation of the rings of power is something more terrible than magic and fascinating, is a sin against the will of the Only.

While I do like how the Three Rings look, how can they justify: 1) Their appearance compared to The Hobbit and LOTR and 2) Them being created first when they were actually created last. It was Men, Dwarves and then Elves.
