I think she started offending her own audience without realising. I grew up with an ill mother, we didn’t have fancy home cooked meals and it has affected my relationship with food now I’m older.

And if it was actually a good PhD program, her committee would eat her alive with her attitude...and if she was good and it was a worthwhile program and field then she wouldnt have had to pay for it...she either did not really get in or she chickened out.

This became the “I have a psych degree and a full time job as a psychologist” claim. I’m working on my own PhD in Psych for research purposes. I do one course at a time to manage my time since I do have a full-time job. I have a KZbin account and can’t post often because of this.

First off, I wanna say this is your best video I've ever seen, by FAR. I dont know how, but do more of this. You are great at recapping a situation like this. I would watch a whole aeries of these on every KZbinr you could think of. Especially ones im not familiar with. Yeah, or both - I remember being amazed coming from Moscow to Lviv for a vacation (before shit hit the fan) and seeing that my friends (all teenagers at the time) from there speak Ukrainian, russian and English like it was the most normal thing, meanwhile I spoke the last two but had very little grasp on the first one. I only watched YDHB a couple times before I pegged her as a self-obsessed mean girl. What I liked about other reaction channels (like yours) was that nobody was pretending to be some morally superior authority figure, but rather regular people with normal and well-adjusted takes on the absurdity of our favorite lolcows. I didn't get that from her. So while I wasn't around or paying attention during her "leaving the left" right-wing grift, it is ultimately wholly unsurprising. YDHB is exactly the personality type that gravitating towards weird political grifts requires.

I grew up in a family of medical professionals but I have an associates in an unrelated field. As soon as she showed her face and changed her style of video, it was over it seemed glaringly obvious she was a total fake. Shit didn't ad up, and she didn't seem to have enough insight or knowledge and was susceptible to pop psych drivel. Also, she clearly had no concept of ethics in her field and just did not come off as smart enough. I'm not even slightly surprised this has come out.
