1ST guy in this show, Tim Durham, was convicted of securities fraud. From Wikopedia "In 2012, Durham was sentenced to 50 years in prison in connection with a Ponzi scheme that defrauded 5,400 investors, many of them elderly, of approximately $216 million, according to the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission.[3] "

The offices of Obsidian and Fair Finance were raided by federal agents in 2009, suspected of involvement in a Ponzi scheme. Durham was arrested in 2011.[7] On June 20, 2012; an Indianapolis jury convicted Durham of 10 counts of wire fraud, one count of securities fraud, and one count of conspiracy to defraud. On November 30, 2012; he was sentenced to 50 years in prison-at his age, effectively a life sentence.[8] While he faced a maximum of 225 years under sentencing guidelines, federal district judge Jane Magnus-Stinson said there was no point in handing down a sentence that long.[9] Nonetheless, Joe Hogsett, the U. S. Attorney for the Southern District of Indiana, called it the longest sentence ever imposed for a white-collar offense in Indiana history.[8] On September 4, 2014, a federal appeals court overturned two of 10 wire fraud counts against Durham and ordered a new sentencing hearing, saying prosecutors failed to enter some key evidence into the trial record.[10] On June 26, 2015, Durham had his 50-year sentence reinstated. Magnus-Stinson said that "the huge number of victims and the amount of devastation" left little reason to reduce the original sentence. He is serving his sentence at United States Penitentiary, McCreary in McCreary County, Kentucky;[11] He was also sentenced to two years' supervised release, but this was largely academic given the likelihood that he will die in prison. His earliest possible release will be February 1, 2056-when he will be 94 years old.

The problem is when you become so rich that you can afford to buy lawmakers and politicians creating a system that is by design highly corrupt and immoral ,yet still within the law . And politicians nowadays can be bought so cheaply . The guy isLaws created to favour the rich and throwing the working class into a cycle of desperation and poverty that is nearly impossible to overcome legally . That’s happening at an alarming rate with stagnant wages and hurdles and blocks along our path to personal prosperity is prohibitively difficult for the poor while the ultra rich can buy just about anything on their way to hyper rich , and that is immoral and unfair it also comes at a great cost for society in general . Criminality on the lower levels is a product of that unjust distribution of wealth .
@timward3116
@timward3116 Жыл бұрын
Of course, if you make your money from killing people within legal parameters, you make as you can and want as well. Laws can be bought and politicians bribed. Who has the right to decide? That's the question of a philosophical imbecile, an addict, or a sociopath.

The picture quality of this video is AWFUL ! Here's an example of how the rich really live TODAY and not way back in 2008 when this video was made. A Russian woman landed in her private jet with her baby in Monaco. She realized she had left the baby's listening device back in Russia and asked an assistant who " gets" things for the rich, to please get her the listening device. That assistant said no problem I will go and get you a new one right away. The Russian woman said no, no I want the one I left back at my home in Russia. The assistant had to get on a plane and fly to Russia to pick up the baby's listening device and bring it back to Monaco.

Worked on Tim Durham's house, he might walk in one day after thousands of dollars of work and say "This isn't working for me" so we tear it out and rebuild something else and he might stop by two weeks later and say, " This isn't working for me" so we tare it out and build something else. I got tired of put my best effort into something that would probably be demoed and rebuilt for some ridiculous reason. I finally quit and eventually Timmy went prison.

No one owes you anything in life period, if you honestly want to advocate for poverty then either adopt those are in poverty or get off your lazy ass and go to work, because at the end of the day no one here is going to baby you, you're only saying this because you're broke and lazy, like seriously.

You say you dont owe anyone anything but yet want people who are rich to give their own money to you? That doesnt make anysense. People who are rich are not here to solve your own financial problems, you are responsible for yourself, so stop encouraging homeless people to be lazy, and encourage them to go find jovs and careers thats waiting for them, but no you dont support that.

These people have ALL sold their SOULS! I don't care how successful you are!!! Nobody can make BILLIONS by doing it LEGIT! That's why in the end they all try to donate it or give it away, so their KIDS are not tied to whatever FRAUDULENT claims are made in the future!!!

@@carlosdcardona5676 yes but a person can sell a product and if the the value of the product is more than the price people will pay money for it. Also most billionaires make their money from the stock exchange as long as the stock keeps going up the person can become a billionaire. I am a Christian Jesus says the poor will always be among us. There is a man you should listen to called dr Claude Anderson that wrote two books black labor white wealth and powernomics. Rihanna is a billionaire due to inflation a billion dollars is not that much I guarantee that one day we will have a trillionaire and if somebody invents a product that earns them money good for them it seems that you want to be a billionaire and since you can’t the best thing is to hate on them.

@@carlosdcardona5676 I will agree with you that the stock exchange is just one big gambling casino and I’m the one that likes business. All I’m trying to say that there are good rich people and bad rich people just like there are good people and bad people.

Excess rarely leads to happiness, although being grateful for what one has, and the ability to help provide for others is golden...

Well said. Even in the bible you see certain men God made wealthy. They knew how to lead & they used their wealth to bless their loved ones yes BUT to help others as well. Most can't deal with wealth...they become haughty, greed overcomes them & they develop the root of all evil i.e "the LOVE of money"...it becomes their idol
