You can feed Finland every single province with a culture in Scandinavian culture group, which in turn Finland can potentially become a Empire-tier country & automatically accept EVERYONE in Scandinavia. But did You know the best part? You can enable the completion of the unique Finish mission tree as RUSSIA! well... Not directly, but still very cool

While that is true, for the sake of Mission Tree Only I typically annex everything like in my Provence run so the nation looks like how PDX intended it to look

Just a little thing, when you declared war on novgorod the first time you did not use conquest but re-conquest as casus belli, which made it so that you had to pay diplo points for each province except one (the one with the core) since all the others are claims (not cores). I think it would be better to do it the other way around where you declare war for your claims and then tank the 10+- diplo points for taking a core.

I thing I heard is that if you no CP byz at the start of the game the Ottomans cant see you and thus cant declare war on you for years, which is a good way to kneecap them early
