100% agree with you observation - there is a huge demand among the working population for computer enhanced mind dissolving interactive experience/games.

Lmao LATE to this. People laughed at me for loving this game, and they “don’t get it”. I can’t tell you why I love this game, or what keeps me playing it everyone once and a while. Simply, it’s just good stuff. Great soundtrack too

This game was so chill and peaceful and also fun at the same time I really hope they expand on this or make a second one with more planets and things on the planets to explore but still keep its same level of awesomeness

Like you I'm not really a gamer and probably because there's a lack of games like EXO ONE. I have enough going on in my job and life that if I do play a game it is purely to chill out. The idea of taking a character through a narrative arc that takes 23 hours to compete just doesn't do it for me. I do hope this is the start of a new trend.

The game is chill, but I think you missed things... There is a plot : you have to find the crew of the Jupiter mission. There is progression : you get some powerful/level upgrades when you reach some destinations. There are subtile clues in the environment (light in the sky, vision of the picture of the crew and such ) that direct you to those things. You are right. The game is very relaxing. It remind me of flowers, a game I used to play on the PS3...
@DisruptionTheory2 жыл бұрын
Funny thing is I was about to include the Jupiter plotline but decided against it since it’s not a focal point of the game and the game itself doesn’t push you into it. Same with the power ball things- there is no UI mechanism that actively point players towards them… in other words everything is optional

It feels like someone used the UAP/TicTac/UFO encounters as inspiration for building a game based on gravity manipulation craft

Exo One has information that wasnt to be made available to the public Thats all Im going to say, this small indie game is so huge you wouldnt imagine I will explain some of it: Alcubierre Warp Drives warp Space-Time itself what is depicted in Exo One is accurate to the (cough) "theoretical" way these work (You can make a vehicle with a Warp-Drive, but "UFOs" are NOT vehicles)

I was just gonna say "I get that in GTA V" and boom, you talk about GTA lol ... My intense game playing days of university are behind me, but after a stressful day I just drive around GTA V enjoying the scenery and taking it all in :) Great Video. Great Channel! Your videos are so clean and you speak elegantly and eloquently well without any BS lol

Child of Eden on Xbox 360 is just a cool ride, and a beautiful experience. It does have enemies though.

Some gamers like me really loves immersion over Gameplay and "strats" etc. And some people just don't get it. I can spend hours doing nothing in FLight Sim, Elite Dangerous or Exo One and have tons of fun and being completely bored one minutes into an Deck builder or Turn based tactic game...

Tetris effect. Cool vid, ive had the same thought. Cant wait for exo one release, its on another level, pun intended.

Some examples of zen-based games that spring to mind: - Flow - Thumper - REZ (Although this has combat and bosses) - Audiosurf - Absolute Drift - almost any runner game ever - Superflight - Feather - Sable (although I found the traditional gameplay elements to be very intrusive in the exploration) - AER (IMO AER is the game Sable should have been, it has almost all the same elements, but just tuned a bit better) - ABZU - Unpacking - I've heard good things about it but haven't played it.

Did you play this game for like 5 minutes? You do progress and move onto other planets and or moons...at one point it seems you are close to a small star...which has asteroids surrounding it...and you build enough momentum to jump from asteroid to asteroid...there is a water planet...and so on...

At the time the game wasn’t even published, it was just a demo and I went off the public info
