I will say, apparently the VC and NVA were just as terrified of the jungle as the Americans were. In fact, according to interviews with Vietnamese soldiers the reason they had such an easy time finding Americans had to do with the fact that most Americans were much taller than most Vietnamese people, and Americans also smoked a lot. They were actually more terrified of the animals within the jungles (which is what many of the traps were actually designed for, not necessarily human soldiers) than they were encounters with American GIs.

Great video. I will never forget the time I played as commander in Hue City and the last cap was about to be lost to the Cong. I called in napalm on our position which is usually a bannable offense for so many TK's but I screamed for people to hold spawns beforehand. We had about 10 tickets left but thankfully people listened when I screamed at them to hold spawn so I could use Reinforcements to get them all back in after they all got burnt to a crisp, which also wiped out the enemy. We took back the cap and lasted the final minute to win the match. This game has so many cool moments like that.

I love how they leave the hunting length shotgun in super realistic mode in this game. A 25" or whatever length that barrel is shot gun with 00 buck will fucking ruin your day even from 100m out.
