This W hotel certainly does look like it has very good potential to be the luxury brand that it’s supposed to be with what you displayed. However, it is sad to see all of the little flaws that certainly do add up. Great review as always! Love your reviews!

Thank you for the support! Yeah it really is a shame this is not nicer for the W brand and a luxury hotel. At least we know not to stay here anymore lol

Josh, you are spot on with your review. I was not impressed with the room at all. Maybe the RC, Conrad, Four Seasons are more luxurious. Also the StR in Bal Harbour.

Thanks for your continued comments! Yes Ritz was a lot more luxurious in Fort Lauderdale. And one of my favorites is St. Regis Bal Harbor, I stayed there before I did the reviews. The four seasons would probably be the best one in Fort Lauderdale buts it’s so expensive.

The inconsistency of the W brand - especially in the US - is insane. Can't imagine checking out of the W South Beach and then checking in here or Brickell. Lol!

It really is- some actually live up to the Luxury tier Marriott has labeled the brand and some feel on the same level as the most basic of hotels. Even many of the new W hotels I’ve noticed have went cheap on the room design.

It’s sad how inconsistent W hotels are! You have to avoid the older locations. I stayed at the W Lakeshore in Chicago last week, no Nespresso, no minibar, and still had the old TVs from 2005 not to mention the walls were falling apart

It really is a shame and I’m so sorry for your bad experience at W Lakeshore. That would probably ruin the W brand for me. They need to renovate all the older ones ASAP!

Wow, sorry you also had a bad experience. It’s a shame for a 5-star property. Hopefully they can make good changes in the future and Marriott can be more strict with the W brand.

Ft Lauderdale is horrible as is this W. Love to see someone call it out so clearly. Waste of time and money.

Thanks for the feedback. I try to be as honest with the reviews as possible. This W was sad. The only good option in the city looks like the Four Seasons but it’s so expensive lol

No luxury there. Looks like a 2 Star hotel, I’d wouldn’t pay over $200. For that room.

You’re right, none at all. I feel bad for all the people spending their money to stay. It has a lot of potential they just have to put the money into it with renovation and hire enough staff with excellent hospitality.
