A bigger, slow roaches are not so bad; you can capture it and put it outside. It's probably a little guy that wandered in by accident. There are actually lots and lots of species of roaches, and they mostly like to be outside. The tiny, fast ones, though...they are part of the infrastructure. The walls, the pipes, the cabinets--they are stuck like the paint. The only thing you can do with those is move to a different area code.

Roaches are everywhere in Texas! Not all are insects. My Dad used to stomp his feet before going into the kitchen so the roaches would all run away. You should size of the biggest Florida roach! When I was a kid one got in my hair and fell apart…left me seriously traumatized! Lmao!

I remember going to a beach cabin on a beach in Corpus Christi back around the early 60's. It was a stilt house that had a full size sink under the house and when I looked inside there were 2 HUGE cockroaches in it and I FREAKED OUT! I'm 70 now but that picture is etched in my mind to this day.

If it makes you feel any better Fluffy.. my boyfriend is also a big guy, 250 pounds, we've been together for going on 13 years.. I have to take care of the spiders for him, even the smallest ones that take me a minute to see them, I have to deal with it 😂😂😂 then he gets upset because I don't kill them, I catch them and release them outside, he's all "just kill it!"
