Saw the sneak peak premier Saturday and I have to say, it was honestly probably my second favorite turtles movie besides the 1990 original. The art style, the soundtrack, the dialogue, everything was perfect. It takes the turtles into a whole new territory we've never seen them in before and it works so well. I loved it.

I got to go to the LA Turtle Lair event. It was awesome!!! They gave a goody bag to you if you spent over a certain amount in the Gift Shop (which was very easy to do). My movie Theater has an advanced screening tonight so I'll be catching that as well 🐢 🍕

We had the TMNT mutant mayhem experience here in London too, was only on for the 3days (28th-30th) up until the release of the movie on July 31st. It was alright, they had a few bits of merch on sale which was good to see, but spaces were limited so had to book up in advance to get in. The movie is good though.

In the 2012 version every time they blink their eyelids are just the same color of their masks but I'm glad in this new 3D movie their eyelids are actually green.

They always say it's for all generations but all I see is content produced for little kids featuring teeenagers... so now when this is done when will we get R rated movie for 40 year+ fans who want to see their turtles in a such a bloody way it was never seen before cause if we won''t get anything don't be surprise if old-fans won't be on board with those new kids things

@@TheTurtleNexus with your mindset we could say don't make new mutant mayhem we have 1987 cartoon or even 2012 show. Old fans deserve new content as well and not telling them to re-read 39years old comics over and over again, at this point it really feels like an insult

@@yashik I am talking about the comics coming out right now. Not reprints. The way I see it, if the turtles get popular enough, it will open up the gates for more niche content. Jumping directly into an adult version of the turtles is a huge risk for any studio to take. Nickelodeon bought a franchise that has proven could sell toys and merch. I cannot really expect them to go mature with the franchise unless they have those needs met. As I said, if there is a popular all-ages version of the franchise doing well, then there will be room for alternate takes. Just like in the comics right now, there was enough interest to make the "Saturday Morning Adventures" and "The Last Ronin". The Last Ronin is getting a video game, and I am really hoping for it to create awareness about the potential of the turtles as a "prestige" show. But in the end, it's all up to the audience/community.
