Agreed and agreed. I've seen others do great comebacks too, but really, I feel like you've gotta come into this sort of thing with comebacks ready (on top of your jokes) if you want to win (and come off better overall). Eli is super talented but damn, Erik is one of my favorites. He's so fucking creative and willing to take a chance. I don't even care if he's maybe not as consistent in a roast battle -- when it hits (which it mostly does), his stuff hits way harder for me. That'd get my vote. His whole style and voice doesn't hurt either.

Agreed. I think he‘s been clever in turning his very obvious targets that people go for (religion and OCD for example) into comebacks. He has great responses prepared around these targets and the opponent so he gets in some great comebacks. Also he’s fucking talented!

I have to agree on this one. Eli is a strong competitor with good delivery, but the material was too monotonous this time. Erik Bergstrom may have fizzled a little at the end, but he had by far the most original and biggest laughs. The 6's run was enough to put him over the top, and his comebacks were way more incisive.
