I don't think it's him jumping topics, he's just telling quick one liners. He's going for punchlines not a structure or story. It's like Anthony Jeselnik or Demitri Martin. They just tell quick punchlines and move on to the next joke.

@spodefollower
@spodefollower 6 жыл бұрын
He has potential. Some clever ideas in there, but the delivery needs to be less robotic. I can appreciate the deadpan but it needs to be something that is brought out in key moments and emphasized to maximize its effect. Also, there was no connection between his ideas. He sort of just jumped from one thing to another, without leading us there. Funny jokes - but he needs the charisma to make them realllly good!

mori1bund , I dont anything about who invented stand up :) but I think Erik copies instead of developing, he uses for instance Jim Gaffigan’s whispering “inner voice” as fill between his bits. In other words, he has a talent, but still lacks originality, that is why his bits feels so incoherent and all over the place. Are you from Sweden?

Good set. I listened/watched twice. The one thing that he did, was to pause way too long between jokes, or before his punchline. Sometimes his facial gestures didn’t really compliment the joke. Overall, good set. The items I’m listing are areas, aspects, & techniques comedians work on. In the end, it is all about timing, and regrettably his is off...out of sync....misfiring (as it were) his “Corpus Forum”.
