Having staff like that on your workforce itself isn't illegal per say, as long as they don't offend while on the job. However having them in roles where they are interacting with children is highly unethical. If the company knew about their desires and still placed them in those roles then they could potentially be charged with negligence or child endangerment

I was groomed for years by a man on Roblox who was a very professional developer. I was also groomed by ANOTHER man on Roblox, who actually had created one of the first Roblox groups on the site, and was, and still is, insanely highly respected and well known on the platform. Most of it occurred off-platform (on Discord), so even if I WANTED to do anything, they'd just claim the BS that they did in the Twitter DMs. Roblox is seriously a sickening and detrimental place, and this video proves it. I was harassed in a group chat with 5 people in it all blaming me and telling me it was my fault that I got groomed and that if I spoke out they'd put me in jail. Roblox will never do anything to help me. I can't overstate how dangerous it really truly is; And paired with a management team like that, I, and so many other children, will never get justice.

One of the main problems with him being sued like this is that it sets a precedent for other companies to do the same thing to content creators for their games. If Roblox hadn't dropped the lawsuit, it's very likely that gaming content as a whole would've changed on KZbin, most likely for the worse.

Honestly I’m enjoying PyroLive way more then I thought- Pyro is legitimately really funny and charming, and while I enjoy his main channel I just don’t got time for a 4 hour video on a show I’ve never seen- so I’m glad he’s decided to split channels by posting normal videos he used to make like in 2020 and livestreams, and then do his bigger projects and stuff he feels proud of on the main channel- which I’ve seen a couple of other KZbinrs do, it’s a great idea!

He had changed his Roblox name many times before deleting his account after being exposed, so I'm not sure what it is now. He ran a few groups that I was the second in command in. He owns a bar/pub in some country I forgot. Regardless, the comments I have received have sickened me to my core. I've been around in the Roblox community for more than a decade now... I know that sounds crazy, and it is. I don't know why I love this platform so much when at it's core, it's just a silly Lego clone. I often contemplate if I should just abandon the platform or stay with it when it inevitably plummets into the ground, because that's what will happen to Roblox if they continue down this path of greed and ignorance. This game has sixteen years of history and it could all be over in an instant. I know that a majority of people could care less, and I get that. But it means a lot to me and so many other people.

here's a hot take on roblox, since i've been playing for years. most of the games are just robux or content farms to make the front page, but when you find a good game in the rough, it's usually a fantastic one. thing is, every one of those games is made by an individual developer, not working for roblox. i'll continue to play roblox, and support good game devs, like the creator of doors, yba, aut, and many others, but i refuse to support the corporation running the platform. they are corrupt, and would rather sweep everything under the rug and sue people into silence than actually take action on their site

Joined ROBLOX in 2010 so basically a 12 year veteran. I will say ROBLOX has lost it ways and recently there seems to be a image showing that ROBLOX cleared their Blog page of anything pre-2021 and likely deleting the achieve too. ROBLOX is just gone, it's not ROBLOX and it's not for kids despite ROBLOX claiming young ages can play, it's not recommended as the community can be problematic sometimes (And no punishments delivered sometimes) and ROBLOX is more monetized than necessary to where it can seem like ROBLOX would be willing to exploit Children just for a quick buck.
