Well i mean, when whitebeard invaded marineford there were quite a few ships under his command, his commanders were more just the direct leaders of each ship. If Kaido, Whitebeard, and Big Mom were all on the same ship WITH Rocks? That's a whole 'nother level. In case u didn't know, katakuri is 48 y old and the God valley incident happend 38 years ago. Katakuri was 10 which means that big mom had already had prospero and katakuri and his triplets(oven, daifuku and katakuri). In katakuri's flashback he wasn't that old, maybe 7 or 8 which mean that big mom was still in the rox pirates at the time.Big mom probably had kids with her crewmates at the time.

If anyone says “oh this wasn’t as good as last episode”. You’re right but calm down, let me explain: 1) we didn’t have the same director. They shift every one or two months I believe, so we won’t be seeing her in at least 4-5 weeks, probably more 2) This was outsourced, meaning Toei didn’t make this episode themselves, but rather hired another studio to handle it, and maybe we can take two lessons from here. Outsourcing is NECESSARY so as to balance the schedule and be able to produce consistent content, since this is a weekly anime. This is an example as to why budget doesn’t equal quality, but rather time does. Maybe this episode isn’t the best example since it was respectable, but for example DBS had GREAT AMOUNTS of money poured into it to hire as many animators as possible for such few time, including outsourcing. DBS was very expensive but the quality wasn’t that good since they had no time to storyboard, draw, animate, correct and polish.

Note that Shiki went to Marinford ALONE and fought against prime Garp&Sengoku, one of the, when not strongest Men in that era and only those 3 men destroyed over half of marinford. In Impel Down, Shiki alone escaped from Level 6 the most safest prison in the world, he made the legend to be the first person who ever broke out of it. If Shiki wanted to, he wouldve been one of the emperors but he said it himself that he wanted to live in solitute do bring up a "storm". Unfortunally Shiki ended up being luffys punching bag in order to push a movie. Normally Luffy wouldve been clapped but well...plotarmor.
