Great landing Vas. I like that the 90mm f18 carries way more inertia and speed compared to the f22 90mm. I need to get mine fixed up again after I took off with ailerons reversed to tailerons >_

Thank you. ☺ Every RC pilot should have at least one F-18 in their hangar. Definitely get yours fixed up and airworthy again, it's well worth it. 😎

Very very nice...I'm using a Bose headset and can hear the flies buzzing around your mic...Good times..!

Haha, thanks. Just upgraded the camera to a Insta360 Ace Pro 2, so I'm glad to hear the sound and (hopefully) the video quality is better. 😎

@@aussiercairspace The fact that your willing to wear a camera, fly the jet and put yourself out there makes many of us grateful. The content was great. Thanks for doing this...!

Nice 👍. Looks fantastic on the fast passes and the break outs 😊. Are you going to put more powerful servos in the tail ?. I seem to remember reading somewhere are not the best . How much more air time do you get with the bigger packs ?, or just a performance thing . Lastly, high Alfalfa?. Great video Vas . 🎄

Cheers Alan. Yeah, I'm thinking of upgrading the elevator servos to something a bit stronger, and I'll also be checking the pushrods aren't flexing under load because that can also create problems. Bigger packs get me a bit longer flighting times and I can average around 4:30 if I manage my throttle right. I can probably push for close to 6min with the Turnigy HD 6200mah, but will need to ease up on the fast passes and behave myself. I can manage 6:30 out of those 6200 packs on my Viper 90, but it's a bit harder on this jet, it's not meant to glide, it's meant to rip up the skies. 😈

May I ask which field you fly at? Looks good.
@aussiercairspace8 күн бұрын
This is GMAC in Melbourne. We have a group of people that look after the field on a regular basis, so it's usually pretty well trimmed and groomed. 😊

Do you have altitude limits as well?
@aussiercairspace8 күн бұрын
Yes, but we have a very high ceiling here, so not really and issue for most people.

That's a shame, for to hear that. Been flying mine for a few months now and no issues regarding signal. 🤞
