Not only that, Katrin's relationship with the Bergeron family appeared to be enmeshed; wasn't she also living with them at some point? And that bit where Ben Bergeron poured dirt on Katrin while she was doing push-ups was downright weird and just a little creepy. Happy that she is finally cutting ties with CompTrain and going back to her roots. Hopefully Annie can help her find her mojo again.

Craig, about Justin's bandage on his upper bicep, it's probably the same as Pat. If you look at the men's event 1 end interview with Pat, at 43:18 you can see pat look at the same area on both arms and he has what looks like a rope burn on it. Pretty sure that's why.

LOVED the Strongman Competition!!! Licis is an ANIMAL!!! This was his first comp in a year and a half after a string of injuries including being hit by a car while on his bike! Rumour is the car took the worst of it😄, and he BEATS the 2020 and 2021 WSM Winners. He had to beat 53 sec in that stone event to finish second to this years WSM Tom Stoltman in the event but win the competition. Instead he destroys the field in 23 sec!! He threw stones up in the air that except for Caron and Stoltman no one else could even pick off the ground!
@t3ddi3 жыл бұрын
I agree 100%, the only thing to add is that Tom Stoltman is 'the king of the stones'. Normally nobody comes close to him. The ease with which Licis blitzed passed him is unreal.

Great video as always. I wonder what you make of Jeffrey Adler's rise to #3. Medeiros's and Vellner's podium finishes aren't all that surprising, so I was intrigued to see Adler place so well, particularly given his #13 finish at the Games, behind many of the guys he was up against at the Rogue. Seemed to me to be a real come from behind win that has gotten very little attention, and I'd love to hear your take on it.
@brendonkieswetter1383 жыл бұрын
@TeamRICHEY as much as I love Ben and comptrain, it has been very evident that the program is going nowhere. Athletes go there and in all honesty just slowly go backwards. They do some really cool programming from time to time, but if you go look at any of Ben's athletes and compare any of their 1RM's to their 20RM's, you'll see that they're very close. Hence Katrin always struggling in heavy clean events since forever. I followed comptrain for 8 years and my 15RM back squat was 10kg under my 1RM. Their comptrain training program (pro package) has also gone backwards. People on the group who pay are extremely douchey towards the members that follow the free version (that has like a tenth of the pro package in). SO that culture has been shown, which sucks because it never use to be like that.
