Very nice movie. She was a relative of mine- Katie Sandwina was married to Max Heymann, brother of my great great grandmother. Thanks for doing such a nice job getting most of the facts right. She WAS born in Essen. However, she was not Jewish, at least by birth, but came from a large catholic family. Her husband Max was Jewish. Max and Katie had another son Alfred Sandor, who was a stage and TV actor and was only briefly a boxer; Ted died in 1991. Katie and max have one living grandson. I’d love to touch base with some of the researchers on this film.

Of all of the series so far, this is perhaps my favorite. I think it's Jan's reverence and the relationship between Max and Katie and Jan and Terry. Very emotional.

31:43 Beautiful. She died without knowing that one day her image would become the statue for the Pro Strongwoman prize at the Arnold Sports Festival, as a tribute to her talent. 7:50 her father was a handsome man.

If Rogue expanded its legends series, they should focus on the greatest Special Olympics Powerlifters of all time, including Louis Maxwell, PG Griffin, Hyeongrak Kim, Wonho Kang, Julian Jeffery, Jackie Barrett, Chrystal Bradley, and Frances Skiftesvik. Jackie Barrett, also known as "The Newfoundland Moose", a former Special Olympics Powerlifter originally from Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada, would be a main focus as his strength and brilliance made him a strong and revered competitor.

Hi @Rogue - who was the sculptor of this amazing statue?
@jantodd15195 жыл бұрын
The sculptor is Michael Deming and he lives in Ohio. He also made the statue of Donald Dinnie that we give as the prize at the Arnold Pro Highland Games.
