@@ppmv4285 The difference is that Pendragon didn't exist in world normally, the events of the tall tales are always at their release point regardless, so Pendragon getting banished doesn't conflict with him being able to come out of his painting, as his painting is still there. Tasha on the other hand exists in world, creating a problem if she were to go away, as her tall tale book just makes her talk, rather than summoning her.

Since Tasha is a quest giver for the Legendary Storyteller Tall Tale, here's a few possibilities of what I think might happen. •She is going to become cursed, turn evil and get replaced by someone else like how Wonda replaced Wanda. •She is potentially going to become some sort of new half skeletal npc that offers a new type of quest. •Rare has finally decided to get rid of the Tall Tale in which you follow unclear, complicated instructions made by a 4 year old and will instead replace it with something else. •We're going on an adventure to find a cure like the one Briggsy was searching for and everything will return to normal at The Unicorn Tavern.

And as Flameheart finally becomes bones and soul once again, changing the sea of thieves as a perpetual battleground, another book closes. But with every end starts a new beginning. And it appears Tasha, tavernkeeper of Ancient Spire and perhaps greatest fan of the fierce Captain Briggsy, is involved in some troubbling affairs. post-trailer edit : As Tasha prepared the decoration of the Festival of Giving, she accidently finds one of Briggsy's book on how to be a great adventurer. Curious like she is, Tasha decides to follow the steps to find a chest with a mysterious Clock. But as she decide to leave the both of the items on the counter, the clock reaches its final tick and the chest opens, letting out a strange and macabre magic. Tasha wakes up, on the ground, next to the open chest, discovering with horror the transfomration it has caused to her body.......

It's unlikely that Briggsy herself is back (but who knows anymore after that _somehow the Siren Queen has returned_ thing at the end of Who Killed Demarco) but it's definitely going to involve what she did in the past as the main driver of the story like how she was pretty much the main character in the Shores of Gold campaign despite dying in the second mission.
