Most people believe that there has always been patriarchy, that women have always been treated like sex objects and chattel, blamed for men’s violent behavior, disrespected, dispossessed, disregarded, and treated like lesser humans unworthy of equality since the dawn of time. This is not the case. Once there was a Goddess, and things were different.

Oh yeah? How many buildings, temples, churches, hospitals, roads, bridges have women built? How many battles have women fought? How many animals have only women raised, how many fish caught, how much oil drilled by women? There is a reason why men and women are biologically different. Just because you are in the most comfortable era for women , ever, (thanks to men and women) does not change that reality.

@@sca8217 Don't know why men continously pretend everything was built by them. What do you think half the population did throughout time? Sit at home surrounded by riches? How do you think we got here today? Why do you think women fighted for freedom? Why do you think the suffrage happened? Don't F-ing try to use the escuse of "MeN BuiLD" BS. Women built, women worked, women educated other women.

Marriage is a contract nothing more. A tool for the father, brother, uncle, cousin -whomever is responsible for the woman. Also male treaties with other countries, even some being sold through the mail in the 1800’s to the men in the territories of the Western USA. The dowry is the money that the husband family will receive when she is sold for marriage. And I’m talking about the elite men would arrange a deal. She usually would now be the property of her husbands family and not see her family again. This practice is still alive today. Women had no access to education other than a possible governess who would teach them about being good future wives, the goal to please the husband and produce a male heir. Very limited scope and endless potential abuse. Have you heard of Mary Wollstonecraft? She was the mother of Mary Shelly and the first feminist who wrote the first draft of what we now call “ Human Rights”. This was in England in late 1700 around the time of Jane Austen’s birth and the founding of the USA COLONIES independence after a long bloody revolutionary war. She ironically died in child birth to Mary aged 38. There are, or were post patriarchy some discovered matriarchal societies - one here at Seneca Falls , NY: 1500,s the Haudenosaunee, where the traditions, names and leadership was passed down through the female lineage. The males were inconsequential. When North America was discovered these female centered societies were forced into the patriarchal system much to there distress. But WHY did the males 10000 years ago, as the Old Testament was being written, enshrining the patriarchy. Their almost psychotic destruction of the feminine societies and the “goddesses” by desecrating and heinously mutilating their corpses. It’s the method of suppression and outright denial of the female as a human being. That, my friends is a long period recorded in our DNA of our oppression. One more thing: in biology we now know that we are made up of a series of X X (female) chromosomes. Basically all humankind start out in utero as female (hence gonads - ovaries/testies). At some point the hormones -androgens will determine the male through an anomalous chromosome: Y - basically a broken X. Today the male chromosome is only responsible for the code to turn the gonads into testicles and produce sperm as opposed to eggs. The Y chromosome is in active degradation being filled with junk code. Does this resonate with Darwin’s natural selection, seeing that the male perseverance for sexual depravity and violent dominance over all others including other men. Their inability to evolve has obviously become a “cancer” for all humankind and even all other species that inhabit Earth. MOTHER NATURE (Earth) is practicing natural selection and the lack of meaningful growth in the male species. It’s actually a flaw in their brain structure with a deformed Amygdala aka - the LIZARD BRAIN. About every 80 years or so the patriarchy rinse and repeats the same 4 stages of societal collapse ending in major conflict . Today 2023, the second largest organized crime syndicate in the whole world: HUMAN TRAFFICKING, including infants, children and adults being used, sold into slavery, organ harvesting, and most egregious, the sale of humans (both sexes, and all ages) into the SEX TRADE. It has been noted that some young children have been “penetrated” up to 50 times a day. The MALE HUMAN SPECIES deserves their collective Karma in the form of total extinction.

What if patriarchy was a tail-end extension of a spiritual matriarchy, where one could not exist without the other as they would follow one another throughout the course of all eternity? Spiritually speaking, matriarchy can begin with a fundamental understanding of the cyclical nature of reality (God). Represented by the snake in many creation myths, the living cycle has a trinity of a beginning (head), a middle and end (tail). As above so below, the sexes were created in the image of God's cyclical nature where Mother is the head and opening to all beginnings and Father holds the tail to all endings (through which the sowing of seeds allow for the next great matriarchal rebirth).The joining of the two (symbolized by the Ouroborus or the marriage ring) is the sacred union needed in assuring the creation and continuation of new life cycles. To speak of the present day God as "Our Father" is simply an admission to our collective positioning within the bigger cycle. As all mothers have direct experience with the creator quality of birthing, so is the direct experience of rebirthing the divinity within (baptism) belong to that which is spiritually matriarchal. (John 3, verse 3-8). Sekhmet statues (ancient Egyptian) carry most of their weight in symbolic memory of what was a mother culture dedicated to the direct experience of baptism. As the leg shaped hairlocks extend from maternal breasts to the womb of rebirth, the lioness's head proportions are such that they highlight the bust of a second animal figure. The Lioness's ears as eyes and eyes as nose (nostrils) brings to life the figure of a reptile. 'Neath the halo headress of the solar egg, the lioness's egg fertilization process being internal (Set) and the reptile's egg fertilization process being external (Setting), such being key components to the safety of entering the trans-egoic or "born again" state. The life threatening fear associated with the predatory nature of a lion and/or crocodile encounter are reflective of the intense ego death experiences associated with the transpersonal awakening process. In spiritually matriarchal times, illumination could be seen as wearing the false beard (ancient Egyptian funerary "ego" death mask) as the high state of cyclical self knowing; high awareness of both our upper matriarchal half and our lower (later) patriarchal half (compared with a mini lower body replica, an "as above so below" tail end beard extension); in full recognition of her civilizational Underworld; her inevitable cyclical destiny. The male pharaoh wears his beard tapered in reverse, indicating a pointing upwards towards the patriarchal head, divine representative of God's tail end cycle. Mary's anointing and wiping of Jesus's feet with her hair can then be seen as "Head to tail" (toe) imagery as she descends her matriarchal head to his patriarchal feet, thus reenacting the high understanding of the divine cyclical process. (John 12, verse 3) To carry the Ankh (now the female symbol ♀️) was perhaps to symbolically carry that upper and lower understanding. As the upper matriarchal womb symbolised the fertile birthing of civilization, below, the now Christian cross is carried to place emphasis on the lower (later) "End Times" Father principle of the great cycle. Lord Ganesha, the elephant headed Hindu diety, displays a cyclical head to trunk symbolism and points to the Mother head of his matriarchal elephant society. Ganesha (like the elephant) wears God's cyclical nature on his face. A whole temple was dedicated to Hathor (ancient Egyptian diety), who is the matriarchal "Uterus" personified. kzbin.info/www/bejne/gGHQYa2AiKp5gZI "See all women as mothers, serve them as your mother. when you see the entire world as the mother, the ego falls away. See everything as Mother and you will know God." - Neem Karoli Baba

Let's remember that any "father" in the early mythology was basically an inseminator who was initially formed by the Great Mother to fertilize Herself. And before that myth, She reproduced through Her sacred mode of Parthenogenesis. The idea about a male god as guardian of any aspect of Herself is misleading, because She can guard all of Her portals and functions. We don't need a "father god" to complete the cycles. Maiden/Mother/Crone is a complete cycle.

The original biblical text called God "she" occasionally in various books/translations. The patriarchical society edited out the "she." Hebrew was a complex language that assigned numerical meaning, also. That's why Jews spend so much time in yeshiva studying the Torah

Max's presentation was so compelling, right up to the point where she closed it with a highly partisan twist where only one political side, one political party, and even specific named organizations are highlighted as continuing the oppression and demonization of women. Anyone who has watched the organizations and parties on the left side of the political spectrum go all-in on pornography, prostitution, surrogacy, and gender-based medical abuse can see that isn't true. Highlighting modern patriarchal wrongs in such an obviously partisan way really diminished the overall value of the presentation.

My crtique was in no way an endorsement of any of the things you listed, which I have spoken out against for decades. It was about the harm to feminism of allying with sworn enemies of feminism, rightwing fundamentalists such as ADF (Alliance for the Defense of the Family ffs) and their ilk.
@RomeoGrrl
@RomeoGrrl 2 жыл бұрын
@@maxdashu Of course you don't endorse those things, no one suggested you do. What I'm critiquing is the choice to highlight only the patriarchal behavior or one specific party, while supporting a party that also does substantial harm to women and children and LGB through its support for the trans and sex industries, and by targeting the livelihoods of radical feminists.

@@clownworldhereticmyron1018 It makes sense to focus on religion, that's not my critique. Rather it is the very particular choice to highlight rightwing as bad without mentioning that the leftwing is also working against women and forcing us to work against ourselves. Churches in progressive cities are flying transgender flags, every red tent or goddess or similar type of woman-centered spiritual event includes men who claim to identify as women, and people who explicitly reject Abrahamic religions have embraced all forms of commercial sexual exploitation. Dems forced their supreme court nominee to pretend that she doesn't even know what a woman is, and it's virtually certain that she will rule accordingly in court cases. Without the modern partisan gloss, these are all part and parcel with the relentless patriarchal takeover of women's bodies and spaces.
