Even so, one of my favorite tunes from that era is Let It Loose, a song that Taylor has no participation, even on the outtakes. What I would like to note, as long as you brought up Bill Wyman's name, is Bill Wyman's bass playing. My default bass players are Jaco Pastorius, Patrick O'Hearn, Juna Serita. AND Bill Wyman. BW's bass lines are as tastey as they get. He's an unsung hero if there ever was one.

Yessss, he created so many memorable guitar parts, hooks, leads and melodic solos. You can basically sing or hum on almost all the hits from their golden years. His ego wouldn't allow him to be overshadowed by Taylor's masterful playing. Just watch concert footage from 69, 70, 72 & 73 where the Stones blow the roof off every place they play and any other band. Totally "on fire"!
