You can't really duplicate it, because it wasn't recorded in a studio, it was recorded in keith's wine cellar in the south of france, that's why exile is the masterpiece that it is. At the time critics panned their lack of professionalism for recording it that way, now multitudes including myself consider it the greatest rock n roll album ever. From the moment i put it on the turntable in june of 1972 i was wrecked by how great it was, especially the opening track, "rocks off"

@@JuanCarruyo what the rolling stones are the grestest live concert band ever I've seen them back in the day 1989 1997 1998 and in 2000s they are incredible great live performers ,tight band never miss a beat in the early years they were more raw .in the 72 73 and late 80s and 90s live concerts were much better than studio, incredible llive performers extravaganza .they had a tough rough Time in the late 70s because the band was wasted on heroin and alcohol etc ,

Under the Sunshine, on them sunshiny days & with a storm in the distance standing by. The face in the blowing wind is feeling so nice...Melodies, Ladies, Drama Free Lazies, in 420 frenzies, Rolling with Crazy, while the sky gets Hazy. Remember.... Daisy Jane?

Oh yeah! I hear you talking when I'm on the street, Your mouth don't move but I can hear you speak. What's the matter with the boy? He don't come around no more, Is he checking out for sure? Is he gonna close the door on me? I'm always hearing voices on the street, I want to shout, but I can't hardly speak. I was making love last night To a dancer friend of mine. I can't seem to stay in step, 'Cause she come ev'ry time that she pirouettes over me. And I only get my rocks off while I'm dreaming, I only get my rocks off while I'm sleeping. I'm zipping through the days at lightning speed. Plug in, flush out and fire the fuckin' feed. Heading for the overload, Splattered on the dirty road, Kick me like you've kicked before, I can't even feel the pain no more. And I only get my rocks off while I'm dreaming, (only get them off) I only get my rocks off while I'm sleeping. Feel so hypnotized, can't describe the scene. Its all mesmerized, all that inside me. The sunshine bores the daylights out of me. Chasing shadows moonlight mystery. Headed for the overload, Splattered on the dirty road, Kick me like you've kicked before, I can't even feel the pain no more. The whole feeling of this song is lost live. It's almost like the Stones try to make all their numbers sound like "pop music". I became addicted in 1980. Let's Spend The Night Together (movie) was like a video bible to this 8 year old. That's the last time the band sounded good in concert. No horns..background singers...etc. Just rock and roll. I hate this pop stuff. The bitch of it is that, you know what? They will tour again and ask $300 for decent seats....and I'll pay it. Damn Stones! I love you.
