The “We Love You” video includes visual references to the infamous Redlands bust of February 1967, involving Mick Jagger, Keith Richards and singer Marianne Faithfull, the subsequent criminal trial, as well as the drug bust of Brian Jones later that same year.

J'ai connu et surtout aimé les Stones avec ce morceau que j'ai écouté en 68 donc bien plus tard qui est parut le 18 août 67 en Angleterre, donc j'avais vu le rock en France un an de retard, j'avoue que j'étais pas très rock à 18 balais ! Excusez du peu mon premier 45 tours c'était la bande annonce du "Jour le plus long !" doige m'en Excuser je ne le pense pas !à part cela " We love you des Stones à été pour moi une déflagration musicale, carrément sectaire je l'avoue mais c'était une secte tout au moins en ce qui me concerne sans aucun effet indésirables, c'était seulement une musique qui ressemblait à un coup de foudre sentimentale pour une femme qui vous prend au tripes et c'est ce qui d'est passé avec mister Mick Jagger et ses accolites ! Il n'y a rien à ajouter !

Just a reminder from the Rolling Stones that they are the greatest rock ‘n’ roll band in the world. I lived in London the year that this was released and the stones were facing jail time. A belter of a track, this. Always felt The Stones psych era was somewhat underrated. This tune, 'Dandelion', 'She's a Rainbow' and '2,000 light years from home' are all boss tracks. The album ('Satanic Majesties') is defo no 'Sgt Pepper', ' S.F Sorrow' or 'Piper at the Gates of Dawn', but it's still a fine album.

People give the Stones a lot of crap for 1967 but, as you've said, they released several GREAT tracks in that year; their psych year may come off as insincere (jumping on the bandwagon) but at least their songwriting was as sharp as ever; I'd like to add to your list "Citadel" and especially "2000 Man", basically one of their truly underrated tracks (at least Ace Frehley gave it new life)
