As far as I know three of the members are still in the military. This is the last thing to be released under their old label. Their contract has now been terminated. Woosung has set up his own company and The Rose will return under that new company. If you haven't already, check out Woosung's album from last year, Genre, it's really good.

The pianist, Dojoon, is my fave I love his voice, but of course Woosung's is just iconic. I was so confused when this came out and then I watched PD's reaction and got caught up on the recent happenings. Lots of people have already explained what's going on so I will just say I'm so glad you reacted! I didn't realize you had missed its release or I would've been like, heyyyyy.....so are you reacting to this? Lol. I thought you just didn't have time yet.

The rose musicality is superb and their vocals really penetrate ears through to the mind and heart... Even if you don't understand the lyrics you can feel the song's meaning. Be heartbroken and Be hopeful. And when i write stories, i tend to listen to their songs alot cause it brings out my emotions as well. ❤️❤️❤️

The contract was terminated alongside the release of this MV as their last song in the label. So things will, hopefully, swing smoothly for them after the last two members first their military duties.

When I saw The Rose live on tour Jaehyeong (bassist) and Hajoon (drummer) did a lot of the backing vocals and they also did a duet by themselves! They are pretty good singers in their own right! I can't wait to see where they go now that they don't have such a crappy label holding them back.

this was filmed before the members’ military enlistment, and is released as the last thing they will release under their old label! and yes, all four members sing- woosung and dojoon (pianist) often get the primary parts, and jaehyeong (bass) and hajoon(drum) do a lot of backing vocals, though they can both sing as well. woosung and dojoon’s voices are so different, yet both have such a unique, calming tone to them, their dynamic is one of the things i love so much about the rose!

I missed this also, and I think that's because this was the last song under their old label. This has "contractual obligation" written all over it. Their label was obligated to put this out, so they released it to avoid getting sued again. That's just my professional guess. Cool song, but it mostly reminds me what other have said: Woosung is reforming The Rose under his own label, and they will be releasing songs without someone filtering them. I'll be listening, and if they tour in the US, then I'm there.

Anw, they supposed to release this back when they were with the labels, but you know with controversy going they decided to not release it. Now that they are free from their label, they released this song as their last song with the company. And with military service i think woosung is considered as an american citizen that's why he didn't go to military, you know like Jae from Day6. ANYWAY, do correct me if i'm wrong everyone, thank you
