that's freakin awesome! Great shots of Greenwich Village and Minetta ave. I lived on Minetta, just around the corner from cafe wha when I worked in NYC a few years ago. I love the olive tree cafe and the great comedy at The comedy cellar. Met some great comedians there who were super gracious to socialize with fans while offstage. I guess i'm a roth nerd, because I kept my eyes peeled every day hoping I'd meet DLR walking down the street, but I never did.

dave you answer with art to a song of mine. i wrote it about the fact, that we sit in front of the tv too much and in the summer we sit in a garden surrounded by fences and after a certain age possibly arent frequented anymore by those we know because 1. they do the same at their place or 2. live to far away. so we sit in the sun dreaming of live. you sit in the city traffic with a garden stool. the song is called "eternal death cult in the garden"

Don't mean to butt into this war on words, but there is plenty of scientific fact pointing towards life after death. Philosophers first began to explain the existence of God with the phrase "I think; therefore I am". Very interesting concept, you may want to give that a look. Also, as the body begins to shut down towards death, for some reason the mind begins to increase in activity and buzz at a higher frequency, the opposite of shutting down. That points towards something.

I mostly agree with you. There are just some gaps in scientific understanding that has not and cannot really be explained. For example, the most popular belief behind how our universe was created is the Big Bang Theory. A particle of infinite mass and infinite density released energy the same way a dying star does, and thus created our universe. But what created that?

Let alone have this in-depth experience. Funny, a neurosurgeon gets an incredibly rare bacterial brain infection, and while brain dead has an in-depth experience, something that science cannot explain. That's unquestionable proof for me that human beings aren't just light switches. And if religion and faith kept moving on with the times, constantly changing their story to fit our current description of the world, then faith would be much less creditable, wouldn't it?

One guy becomes brain dead and has a near death experience, and you dismiss it as a dream because it fits your thinking. If modern science cannot explain it, that means it's fake or a lie? That is a very obscured perspective. I am more of a man of science than religion. Personally, I believe science cannot and does not explain everything, and religion in some ways explains that unexplained void. Science wants to disprove God by saying that this particle is what created our universe, because if God created everything than what created him? But at the same time, how did this said particle come into existence? And when it comes to religion, I feel that modern religion makes more sense then those of man throughout history. For example, there were prophecies made thousands of years before Christ depicting him and his works. That's not just something people made up.
