So excited for you guys... and me. I'm on the second allocation at BMG. Too old to race again, but will be watching your build process. Congrats!

some news on the 660 ?
@LWTRACER3 жыл бұрын
Just got our first day of testing on May 3rd but I forgot the GoPro at home so no footage. The bike handles amazing and autoblip/QS work perfectly. The engine isn't great.

@@LWTRACER you still favor the SV? I’m sure these can and will be developed to be better race bikes, no?
@LWTRACER3 жыл бұрын
@@ClntnMrphy No, the RS660 chassis is far better than the SV650s chassis.

Is these are going to be track bikes?

Yes, they are being built into race bikes. they will never see the street.

Speaking of ti kits, what would be the most bang for the buck ti hardware on your web site ( big pieces) that gives you the biggest gain for your money? On your web site I could not find information on weights nor a contact number.
@LWTRACER4 жыл бұрын
Start with Caliper bolts. Warning, it's a slippery slope. :) The best bang for your buck isn't in Titanium. Once you've done all the other easier/cheaper things to drop weight, then you turn to the bolts. I mostly only sell pre-drilled bolts because those are the things to me that make the most sense to purchase. A: you don't have to waste time and money on drilling and drill bits. B: they are 50% lighter. C: they will always look shiny and nice unlike steel bolts. So there is that bling/proper race bike factor.

I know you wouldn't get it in time to build/race, I wonder if the Tuono will prove over time to be the better base for a race bike.
@LWTRACER4 жыл бұрын
It comes with black forks so it must be better.

I can’t imagine it will be seems like the RS660 engine is tuned for higher horsepower/higher revving
@andypreston68994 жыл бұрын
@@ericochoa9549 I thought about, not sure what the difference will be, but for instance, you won't have to swap triples etc. I did just post a link to a dyno run on one, 93hp at the rear wheel.

Those things have 48 mm throttle bodies! Huge. I'll take a Tuono 660 myself. Watching!
