Ninh explains the Rules of Brazilian Jiu Jitsu. To my many fans, I appreciate the suggestions and I'm sorry it took a while to make. But I got there in the end. Be sure to help me out by sharing this video where you can :) EDIT: Minor oversight - BJJ is derived from Judo, which itself is derived from Ju Jitsu. As a former BJJ practitioner I agree. Did for a few years until i hurt my neck (strained it badly during no-gi takedown practice). Tried it afterwards but did not feel confident and was semi-afraid that I might hurt my neck more. Still lose feeling on my arm if sleep on a awkwardly and have some bad neck jams from time to time. Looking back I did way less stretching that I should have done and in my gym we only trained in the sport for a hour and a half and that was it(warmup, technique and spar) . Should have done with my body and strengthen my neck. Not just train...

Very well explained. I was practicing jujitsu for about a year and a half, and I definitely miss it now that I've moved and now all the dojos are closed. That was a mistake, because after I took that brief hiatus, it was very hard to get back into the swing of things.

@@NinhLyUK I found BJJ in a time when I was struggling to have purpose and meaning in my life. I was working just enough to cover basic expenses, and I had just switched programs at my university, and had to take classes that were very easy and required minimal effort. That's when I met a husband and wife bjj owners, because they came into my work one day and I asked to start going to their school. After a few months of going, I suddenly start going less frequently and eventually decided to take a hiatus. I had quit to make more time for my new girlfriend (who wasn't too interested in going), and I was also picking up more hours at my job. Not only that, but the lessons were becoming very expensive. After a couple months months off, I tried multiple times to get back into it, but I struggled to stay committed. Now that I have a better income, and a relatively more consistent work schedule, I hope to start going again.

And Judo have root's in Japanese JJ. But difference in JJ and BJJ is huge and can be noticeable immediately. 3) 3:24 it's Anaconda choke, while RNC comes neatly around neck.

I don't think there are any rules against it ... but I doubt you'll be able to get them to that point.

,@@NinhLyUK I checked the rules on wrestling and Brasilian jiu-jitsu and wrestling. Apparently, you can't squeeze people in wrestling. I don't know what I love more, squeezing people until they pass out or slamming people so that I can put my opponent down faster. So which sport would you think would help me the most or is the most efficient, wrestling or Brasilian Jiu-Jitsu?

I think she's trying to reach underneath to grab her belt. Doesn't look that way from the video though.

@@NinhLyUK It's called "Thumb up Bum'. Leave it in there for three seconds results in two points and a smelly thumb ;)

I think there are guys out there that would pay perfectly good money for that sort of 'service'.

Not really. All I did was boost the lower end frequencies and roll off on the high ones. All the levels checked out.
