See what I don't understand is by putting it into each.264 container once you just be better off using the regular camera? Doesn't doing it this way remove the ability to manually color grade your footage

Actually, you can still have good grading flexibility even in H264. But, the issue with the stock camera is the absence of LOG video and all the post-processing shenanigans that destroys color grading. But, since the H264 video is based on RAW data, there's a wider flexibility to grade in post. Not to mention, there's more data and detail too.

As an Exynos user.... 💀💀💀... I'm still salty how much Motioncam Pro gives Snapdragon user a really good software to take RAW photo and video, given phone's default camera software always missing one or few things and didn't properly utilize one powerful sensor/hardware that packed inside that tiny phone.

between the mcpro24fps vs the motion cam which one is better? i havent tried the mcpro24fps but the only problem i had on motion cam pro is the high storage use

When comparing image quality, it's hands down Motioncam. But if your main concern is storage, mcpro24fps hands down. You might need some time to adjust the settings to your liking, but other than that it's golden.

I think you just need to set the recording folder to your SSD.

How is this compared to the mcpro24fps? I tried to download it, but i fi d it really complicated, especially the upload and the file format

MCpro24fps is definitely easier to use. While I think the best way to use this is with the adobe premiere plugin, then converting it. You can also use the pro app's conversion. I'd only recommend this if you really really want to have the best visual quality and don't mind some 'elbow grease' in a sense.
