This is the one and only song that without fail makes me cry thinking about eventually losing my parents...

Man Jonny just knows had to take us on a roller coaster ride of emotions lyrically, with the music filling in the colours. Great reaction man, I dont believe the Mother has passed in the video, I think it was just to emphasise the fading out and in aspect I believe. Sorry to hear about your Dad not being well, hope feels much better soon bro.

This song hits me way harder now. My father is dying from Stage 4 colon cancer, and my Fiancée and I are expecting our first child in just a little over a month. I'm genuinely crushed by how much it's mirroring my life right now. Great content, but remember to feel those emotions all the way thru!

I’m really sorry to hear that my friend. I’ve lost many people close to me due to cancer in my life and my dad isn’t doing that great so I know the feeling. Congratulations on your kid though! I know that must be a tough contrast to deal with, bringing someone into the world while losing another. I can only imagine what that feels like. Hang in there though my dude, all you can do is to take what you’ve learned from your father and let it help you raise your child to be an amazing person! We need more of those 🖤

I found this when I listened to the album on the way home once. I didn’t know there was a music video! I don’t have much vision so it’s interesting to hear the parts you described.

I’ve heard this song before. Not sure if it was the first song I heard or not, but I remember it quite well.

Of the songs you’ve checked out: “Ocean Floor”, “This Is The Time (Ballast)”, and “Jenny” were from their self-titled album. “Go To War” and “Fade In/Fade Out” were from The Stories We Tell Ourselves “Just Say When (Version 2.0)” and “Don’t Stop (feat. Jacoby Shaddix)” were alternate versions of two songs on The Stories We Tell Ourselves. Other than that, everything else is from SPIRITS and CARNAL. You haven’t heard anything from The Few Not Fleeting yet. If you want more stuff that isn’t from the albums so you can have more during full album reactions, here are a few alternate versions of songs you’ve already heard: “This Is The Time (Ballast) - Acoustic” “Jenny (Acoustic)” “Fade In / Fade Out (Acoustic)” “BEST TIMES (Acoustic)” “BEST TIMES (feat. Lacey Sturm)” “YOU DON’T KNOW WHAT LOVE MEANS (feat. Taylor Acorn) (Piano Version)” (I HIGHLY recommend this one. That is, if you’re ready to experience some hard emotions.) Other than that, you have their remaining albums: The Few Not Fleeting (10 Year Anniversary) (the 10 year anniversary version just has better mastering on the songs) Nothing More (their self titled album) The Stories We Tell Ourselves Figured I’d give you a layout of their music so you can choose what you want to dive into next.

I stopped listening to this song because of the emotions it brings me. It’s a fantastic song but I’m not trying to be in a sad mood all the time 😂
