I lost my dad on Father's Day. This is the first time I've heard this song since. I'm not crying, you're crying.

Fella I lost my father 18 years ago shortly after my daughter was born. I wasnt ready for either I was on 25. I'm 43 now. This song cuts deep. Specially as my dad gave me no guidance. I needed this 18 years ago. I hope your OK. I'm crying now. I'm quite comfortable saying that.

Instant tears every single god damn time I hear this song 😭 I discovered Nothing More watching them open up for the Contortionist and Periphery about 5 years ago and despite Periphery being both my favorite band and phenomenal live performers, Nothing More absolutely stole the night. Loved them ever since 😍

Saw these guys live opening for Ghost two years ago. They did a metal cover of a Skrillex song. I think it was Bangarang.. legends.

Their record before the self titled 2014 one "The Few Not Fleeting" (2009) is worth checking out for sure too, some great tracks on there. "Gone" (has an awesome fairly recent acoustic version also) & "Bullets & Blue Eyes" are my favourites.

I even enjoy their unstreamable albums. The musicianship is great. Drum and bass always pulls through

In 2018, they played this song in Little Rock, Ar. It surprised me, b/c I low-key wanted this or God Went North but didn’t expect them to be played. The Contortionist played right before they came on. It was a hell of a show, best birthday I had in a long time.

My biggest fear in life is the day I lose my father… he was always there for me when my mother wanted nothing to do with my sister or myself. He never told me no you can’t do this or do that but if you are going to do it make sure it’s what you want and that you’re happy and put heart into it, and that I’ll always be there to help you when you can’t help yourself.

This song is pure passion. I just recently discovered these guys and this song chokes me up pretty hard every time. I really appreciate you for not pausing every 3 seconds to give a take. You can't possibly appreciate something doing that. It drives me insane when people react to music that way. Cheers

Glad you covered this band and this track. It's true that it's a great track, but not their best. But then the lyrics and other subtleties in the music make it a track that I regularly go back to

Canyons through his skin and the rivers that made them carved the stories i was told. This is incredible. Just incase anyone missed it. Canyons through his skin are the wrinkles. The rivers that made them are from all the tears hes shed. Eroding and wearing him down. Its such a beautiful way to convey getting old and having wisdom. "When the grip leaves my hand i know you wont let me down" Thats heavy shit man. Im not sure ive heard another band tackle the death of a father like this.
