Love your videos….takes the chore out of car cleaning. I’ve always found WD-40 to be excellent at tar removal and it doesn’t damage any paint or brightwork on the car bodywork.

NIce. I do like my Gyeon Tar remover, which is citrus / limonine based, and works a treat at a similar price as the yum. It does smell like oranges :) This is the closest to Sheaffer citrol 266 aerosol that I've found in the UK, after much trial and error.

Had a brand new car in 2005 that my future ex-wife decided to drive fast down a recently resurfaced road. Naturally it got covered in tar along the flanks. So after washing it, I used Autoglym's tar removal to get rid of the tar spots. To my horror, it left the car covered in scratches, and it was only a week old! I've been very hesitant to use tar remover since.

Buy the Rag Companies Gauntlet drying towel. Various sizes, excellent towel. You can just leave the damp towel on an airer to dry.👍🏼

I guess limonene is a major active ingredient? Given that 5l costs £100 (£20/l)...£18 for 500ml seems on the pricey side (although I get that the trigger spray adds cost) I'll try it though and see if it's just hype or worth the £100 for a quantity.

I’ve never found anything to beat Autoglym Tar and Glue, and it looks like you need less of it to do the job too. Probably does contain white spirit, but used correctly, with a polish and/or wax after, I’ve never seen any paint degradation. It doesn’t kill protection like a fall out remover does, but if you’re doing it properly you’d reprotect afterwards regardless so not of much concern to me.

@@epicautomotivedetailing I notice they nearly all seem to be Yum though, have you some sort of tie-up with them? as if you have it makes you biased, not that that makes the product any less effective.

@@pillred5974 If somebody enjoys the product a lot for their business and KZbin journey you will as a by-product see a lot of it being featured. Dave is a great guy who not only loves the experience that we bring to the industry via our creations but also wants to show new people looking to try new things a product that may not have seen yet.
