Misinformation I watched another video and the guy tested himself after consuming blue berries. He got a substantial spike in glucose. The best were advacado, raspberries and blackberries. I’m learning to take these videos with a grain of salt and do my own research

@@helenndow1101 in the video I watched, sour cherries were better than sweet., but still you get a spike Fruit must be eaten sparingly, never drink any fruit juice…too muck sugar and no fiber

You are your best advocate. I too have learnt lots by doing my own research. I started about 6 months ago, started meat only carnivore almost 5.5 months ago. Have lost 42 kg and multiple metabolic disorders and no longer take any meds. I do take Apple cider vinegar and fish oil capsules for the omega 3 to ensure the right Omega 6 to Omega 3 ratio is maintained. Was on many pills for 11 years. Almost at my goal weight. Meat only Carnivore for life.

Misinformation? I guess I missed where the graph showed avocados, raspberries and blackberries. Seems they weren’t included in the test. So you can’t exactly call that misinformation. This persons that tested raspberries, blueberries and blackberries did he include what breed? Did he include wild vs cultivated? If he didn’t couldn’t we call his video misinformation? Avocados I don’t really count them the same as other fruits. Who really eats avocado like a fruit? Isn’t it just eaten for the fat content? I mean who takes a bite of avocado and says mmm that’s sooo good.

Note of concern…I only know this because of Viome lab testing..in the case of blueberries and tomatoes as well, I react to them with inflammatory response. This is pretty wild! It’s because at some point I ingested some that had a species specific virus within themselves! My body’s immune system flagged it and them as a threat. Things are far more complex then we have EVER realized. It’s more important than ever to eat clean and simple. There’s no method better than elimination diet periods, followed by learning to listen and pay attention to your own body’s messages! This is only possible if you’re eating a simple, clean and preferably organic/grass fed /pasture raised menu. While it was advised that I eliminate blueberries for one year…I haven’t eaten tomatoes for over a decade and the autoimmune marker still showed up!

That immune response will never die (might get less pronounced). Once ‘flagged’ always flagged. If only our brains had memories like our gut lining/bloodstream/lymph circulation - we’d all be walking encyclopedias.

Something very wrong in that information totally agree.. I have a fractionator at home which measures sugar content in fruits so I use it because I follow the low-carb diets.. and the sugar level is very high in normal grapes

@@gabriellamclellan1102it’s not wrong it’s actually fat causes type2/IR if that was actually the case where sugar does that than why do fruitarians have a lower A1C than people on a keto diet.

The safest fruit is ancient genetic varieties which I don’t know even if it exists today. ALL modern fruits have been bred for sweetness which of course spikes insulin response. One piece of fruit once a blue moon does not cause harm, but multiple amounts daily over time will. Fruit is actually just as addictive as sugar IMO. Fruit juice is by far the worse and dangerous to health consumption of Fruits. I too used to think fruit was healthy. I now know better.

I seek the Ursolic Acid in organic Apple skins, the flavonoids in organic lemon peels. Polyphenols in berries for the gut lining. Kiwi's render something unique & powerful. I worry and I humbly ask if I am over-valuing and going a bit too far with all the burgeoning silly studies ??? OCD ?

Wild blueberries are available usually fresh frozen. They’re small and less sweet than the farm grown and twice as nutritious. While I agree that fruit juices are generally unhealthy I disagree with your assumption that fruits are not healthy as multiple scientific studies in different countries have shown the health benefits from fruits. If you’re an obese diabetic couch potato sucking on mangoes all day then yes that fruit won’t help.

@@bobdrawbaugh4207 different breeds of animals have been cross bred to create stronger bigger breeds. Different breeds of animals haven’t been bred to create more sugar and less fiber within the meat. Fruits have been bred to create stronger, bigger fruit with less fiber and more sugar. Yes some fruit has been genetically modified but not all. No meat has not been genetically modified at all. There is a big difference between genetically modified and hybrid. You are to far removed from where your food comes from. If I was you I’d delete such an idiotic statement.

This is not how John Hopkins taught you how to present charts and visual medical data. I turned down med sch. and Hopkins to attend a smaller sch and have always envied Hopkin docs.
