Could be shorter explanation since most persons decide on something w in a mijute? Dr speaks slower, allowing for greater comprehension and recall. So apparently it's cereal and orange juice. One thing to remember about the cereal and orange juice we consume today compared to what our grandparents and great grandparents ate back in the day. Back then cereals didn't contain high fructose corn syrup and preservatives, and orange juice back then was squeezed by hand. Also, the grains used to make our wheat and corn flours is treated with glyphosate (Roundup) which destroys the gut biome. In addition, the orange juice sold in supermarkets has been seriously adulterated, often squeezed and juiced at the factory and placed into huge vats that are vacuum sealed, thus degrading nearly all the nutritional value from the juice. When it is processed and packaged into containers they add sugar, orange essential oil, and ascorbic acid (vitamin C) to the juice to make it drinkable again. So the breakfast is already highly processed, and it's the consumption of this adulterated food that causes inflammation in the body and causes cuts in the arteries that scar up.
@peat116 ай бұрын
Great grandparents would not know what a cereal was let alone eat it, as for fresh orange juice well sugar is sugar no matter where it comes from. 1-That is well said and acknowledged and spot on, especially for the elderly people of the world who will by design experience a slow insidious amount of bone loss later in life. 2-At my advancing age of 70 years, I am well aware of this slow insidious threat to my bone and muscle issues so every day I spend hours outside in the sun of Phuket Thailand for my essential hormone D-3 exposure for my bone & immune system health & support. 3-And this is the one reason why I do not weight train indoors as even glass windows will block out the D-3. Later I will invest in a weighted upper body vest for walking but for now, I simply carry hand weights with me for my bone health and muscle fitness. Note that I carry a backpack with my bottled glass (never plastic) electrolyte fluids for continued hydration for the Phuket Hot Weather conditions year-round. 4- I never wear shoes so in bare feet I am EARTHING to the ground to receive my free-form electrons charging up every blood cell and organ in my body for my free-form electrons of energy medicine. 5- I also endorse every health influence r to walk the talk themselves showing photos and videos of themselves doing their resistance weight-bearing training to set a good example for the rest of the world to see & follow. 6- To walk the talk with personal documented evidence to share is very essential to be taken seriously. Great video, even though I disagree with parts of it. I believe obesity drives insulin resistance and not carbohydrates consumption. Eating unprocessed fiber-rich carbohydrates in normal quantities should keep blood glucose below 140 mg/dl and can be a part of a healthy diet. The main causes of obesity are processed foods and seed oils. Carbohydrates consumption did not increase so much in population level, but the seed oils, fried foods, and processed foods were increasing dramatically.

Dr Brewer what is your position on full fat yogurt, unsweetend, with cinnamon, chia seeds, blue berries, and some stevia?
@jeannettebalcom6826Ай бұрын
The yogart should be grass fed, organic & full fat is best. All the other ingredients should be organic too. You've got to be very careful with stevia so as to not add too much or it could drive you to crave/eat more sweets. And to try to not add too many berries cuz they're sweeter than you think. The healthy balance life can seem complicated coming from the place where we never gave much thought to eating previously. I do really like your choice though cuz it's exactly what I do too. Happy day 😊

Oats contain fiber. Eating a diet high in fiber, such as 3.6 grams of oats daily, reduces the risk for heart disease. High cholesterol. Eating oats, oat bran, and other soluble fibers can somewhat reduce total and low-density lipoprotein (LDL or "bad") cholesterol when consumed as part of a diet low in saturated fat.

Sugar ratios in oranges 40-50% glucose 30-40% fructose 10-20% Sucrose (Sucrose or table sugar is a disaccharide made up of equal parts glucose and fructose) . So when the body breaks down sucrose in orange juice, the juice is approximately half glucose and half fructose. You are welcome Dr. Ford. Thank for your truth telling info.
