Deltarune is awesome but damn is it weird.

Fun fact, first time I played salmon run on s3 one of my joycons died. I couldn’t use the motion controls, shoot, or jump. I also couldn’t put any eggs in the basket. Miraculously we still won with me running around constantly getting splatted.

Instead of collecting golden eggs, it instead functions like a rainmaker/mothership style mode where Salmonids will make their way to the basket and attempt to steal the eggs back. You revive automatically after a few seconds of being downed, but can be revived faster by teammates. The power eggs you collect each wave can be spent on upgrades to your weapon and ink consumption. Special waves occur in the middle of waves, such as a griller spawning or a rush of salmonids with a goldie at the back.

This weapon loadout for salmon run is ridiculously good. Splat roller, and splattershot jr are both some of the best weapons to get. The roller kills medium frys with just rolling, and the junior has the biggest ink tank, which also applies to bombs which is very useful when fighting fly fish and such.

Fun fact: The Salmonids specifically Chums, Cohocks, Small Fry’s, Snatchers and maybe Goldie’s no longer slow down on enemy ink. They still go to their normal speed regardless or enemy ink in their paths. They just make a trail of “ink” and they “keep moving forward” until they splat all of their enemies.

i actually have figured out how to basically move 2 eggs when there is that golden egg box. First throw one egg and then grab a second egg and swim towards the first egg then throw the second egg and then just rinse and repeat until you can throw one egg into the basket and bring the other egg into the basket.
