Bought mine 3 weeks ago, start acting up yesterday with the date stuck at 11. Managed to set it manually but at some points during the adjustment, the date wheels "refused" to spin. Honestly I am worried now.

You try manually change date, it will stock at 25 or 26,in your case.

@@miniumkimo thanks.. yeah, I did and managed to set the date manually using second position. you are right, it stuck at 26, and I managed to get the discs rolling manually through the normal hour/minute hands movement (third position). but I am convinced that this problem will occur again.

I guess i will wait for 2nd generation of this watch.Next week i was planning on getting one…a shame.1200€ is a big amount for a watch that you cannot trust. I agree with the people with this kind of problem,Mido should have taken all of this watches back and replace them with ones that have 0 probability issues.That is a company that respects their clients.

Does anyone have information, in regards to a 2nd gen release date? I came really close to purchasing this watch. The butterfly clasp was my only other issue. But, I could get past that. Quality is something I can't. Thanks

There is no such thing as a '2nd gen.' Mido simply opens the watch back and replaces the date wheels. There are two points I sincerely urge you to consider before making a purchase: 1) When an issue arose, Mido claimed that the customer had mishandled the watch during the restricted time zone; 2)obviously, replacing the wheels is just a containment. I will rather get away from this watch

I got a Multifort Patrimony and Commander and love them with no issues. I wanted a tv big date but never got one because of all the issues I read about the date wheel 😢

i WAS a big fan of Mido, i own 6 Mido watches, different models, and will still keep them. But since Mido delivers these low quality watches, and refuse to call back defective watches in store, i give up this sucker brand. I mean they can fix the problem before clients ghave it. All products may suffer quality issues, but what makes me angry is they keep selling defective products to clients, and wishes clients go back to their service center to fix it. i brought 3, and 3 got problem.

I have the rosegold verwion with rubber and I dont have the problem that you have. But for your watch, if you want to change the date the crown has 2 modes one for time and the other for big date

You have to run the watch 24 hours a day and 30 days a month to conclude that your watch is fine. Or you can wind the crown 30 x 2 = 60 rotations to see your date wheel is ok or not.

Same issue with mine. I sent it in for repair under warranty. It's fixed, but I lost confidence in the watch and in Mido.

So did I, unfortunately it is defective. I do believe even they temporarily contain the issue, there is high possibility date wheels stop in couple months or years. Hope not just right after warranty. 😢

Yes, they wanted me to send back for service. But I refunded, I don’t trust local service. And the most of all, why I buy a defect watch for full price. 😢

@@miniumkimo i mean, i was browsing mido website and couldn't find this model in gold case... i have 13 years old mido all dial chronometer and it runs +/- 1 sec a day. But I had to regulate it. Very strange that your watch has this issue. If you get it from authorised dealer, they must fix it. Its a new model.
