The thing I want to see more than anything is a feature that both the Pixel series and iPhone has had for years now, and that's crash detection. I work swing shift so I'm driving home at 2am basically every day. And I drive back roads so if I were to get in a serious enough crash that I couldn't make a phone call it could absolutely be life saving if my phone would call emergency services

@frankwalder3608Ай бұрын
My Note 9 is still performing well. I don't mind living with 60 Hz refresh, 6.38" screen, and Android 10. The S25 is the first phone to be release that causes me to even consider the possibility of upgrading. I will see how I feel about upgrading next summer, when my phone approaches its seventh birthday. Even if I do upgrade, to get the same ROI as I did on my Note 9, I would be replacing that S25 with an S35. That is the kind of Epic Legend the Samsung Note 9 is to me.

I'm currently rockin the s22 (standard edition), and since I've joined the military and started college, I think this year is the year for some better battery, storage, and power 💪 I'm really hoping the s25 U will be my next phone to take me through school, but we'll see what samsung has in store I guess

S-Pen support would be amazing on the regular S25! Also, notification summary is a bad idea, and Apple is the example! We just need a better way to organise the information and prioritise it, but I def want full visibility of my notifications.
@dqitwithbradАй бұрын
we need 50mp cameras across the board. a 200, 10, 50, 12 and a 12 front doesnt make sense. they can keep the 200 though but make it a bigger sensor so you capture the 200mp better
@LiktechTzАй бұрын
I just want some high resolution cameras on all lens 50mp minimum atleast. Especially the regular S series like giving the plus the telephoto camera like on the note 20 ultra where it'll max at 50x zoom.

Hey Mike, big fan of your work and review on these electronic devices and their technology. This is a suggestion that you don't have to look at. Still, I was wondering if you could do a review video about the best headphones and earbuds to workout out because my AirPods just broke recently and there is so much video on what headphones and earbuds are good. I'm just lost, so I was hoping you end this and make a video on the best Bluetooth device to use for the gym and doing any sort of active activity.

I've been using the s21 5G for the past 4 years now. I think I'm tempted to jump to the s25+ but my main hang up is the increased size of the phone. I always keep a case on my phones so I would love to see that model slim down a little bit.
@williss9995Ай бұрын
First phone manufacturer to make a phone battery that lasts a week on a single charge will dominate the market. Bank secure Face ID and MagSafe would be excellent. Users fees fees are a no go for me.

Me personally am hoping that the S25 ultra has more rounded edges. It will feel much nicer and fit a little bit more easy into pockets. And I hope that they will upgrade the ultra wide since it sucks in the S24 ultra

Great content. As for your list. From what I heard, samsung fixed the graining. As for the add me, if you have the s24 ultra, just use the s pen as a remote shutter. There's your add me for the camera. I don't know about you, but most people I know use a case for there phone's, especially for as much as they cost.

The grainy display was a turn-off, to be honest. A $1300 phone should not have display issues; these should have been detected in quality control. Hopefully, the S25 will be a step in the right direction regarding the quality of everything.

2:38 "Too much AI and it just feels like you're not really capturing a memory." but you agree with the addme feature which let's you stich yourself to the other family members but in reality you weren't actually with them... common.... yet another useless and hipsterish feature and you actually contradict yourself a little bit here
@MikeOBrienMediaАй бұрын
Yeah I see what you're saying here. There is a blurry line and i personally think the AddMe feature is useful. For example, at Thanksgiving this year, my mom took a photo and then handed the phone to my dad an had him take a photo. So we had two photos with one person missing. AddMe fixes this and it isn't really an artificial memory. Everyone was there. Taking a photo by a crowded waterfall and erasing all the people behind you is much more artificial in my opinion.
@crytek111Ай бұрын
@@MikeOBrienMedia Yes, I agree with the merging of mom and dad photos into one, but only in terms of technical sentiment. A photo of two persons actually sitting next to each other reveals or should reveal their actual interaction and mood to one another. People have a specific aura when making an actual group photo, discreetly revealing how they actually feel within that group, and less when they are making a single photo. Stitching them into one virtual group photo blows all that out the window. So, doesn't it bother you that maybe in a few years from now you will look at the photo of mom and dad and suddenly realize they weren't actually near each other? That's what the camera timer is good for. I can't find any good use case for this feature when used on people while trying to save a memory of them. I just can't get past the 'fake' feeling. THERE IS NO PROBLEM IN ASKING A STRANGER to help you making a group photo since we live in a society where we need and should be encouraged to interact more, even with people we don't know. However, nowadays we unknowingly distance ourselves from other people with the help of technology and features like Addme are a catalyst for that. This is the part where Addme will fail. But don't get me wrong, I recognize its advantages. Such as putting together two objects or people for making an objective comparison. I encourage viewers and content creators to have a more critical and philosophical approach to all the shiny and new and 'cool' features phones come with. They are here to stay , to make our lives better but they also have the power to do bad, many times in a discrete long term fashion.

Eh...I'm perfectly content with my S24+, which isn't loved nearly as much as its vastly overrated S24 Ultra big brother. I'm not a content creator or a low IQ consumer, so I won't be "upgrading" every year anyway...especially with the incremental crap Samsung will be making for the foreseeable future. There's just not much to look forward to anymore compared to the past when it comes to smartphones...and a lot of tech for that matter. It's either something that isn't that special or something that should already be a standard feature. I also don't care for Qi2 wireless charging, and feel it's equally overrated. People are going to invest in a case for their smartphone anyway, and there's already a plethora of magnetic smartphone case options as it is. Far better charging speeds, both wired and wireless, is something Samsung needs to finally stop being so idiotically hesitant about giving their smartphones instead...when nearly everyone else is dog-walking Samsung with this. Next to Apple, they are pretty much the only other smartphone company that is still implementing prehistoric charging speeds in their smartphones, because they just can't get over their Note 7 nightmares already. Samsung also needs to stop pulling that Exynos and Snapdragon bullshit and standardize what is clearly the superior smartphone SoC, comparatively, in ALL regions in their smartphones. They did this for the S23s and went back to that scummy crap shortly afterwards. There is NO excuse for why they keep doing this beyond classic corporate greed, and they deserve to either be penalized for this, forced to stop this nonsense, or both...much like the EU forced Apple to replace their ancient lightning port with a USB-C port on their iPhones.

Why i sold off my S24 Ultra in just 2 months it pisses me off to see that none of the social apps (fb , messenger , whatsapp) are well optimized for android like those are 99% optimized for iOS Android does not have anything close to Airdrop and it pisses me off when someone with an iPhone asks me to transfer something to there iPhone or asks to get something from there phone transferred to my phone Slow shutter speed of the galaxy flagship yes its still there Ultrasonic FP scanner its garbage compared to apples face id. Have unlocking issues with dry fingertips , you apply a screen protector uv or not thats gonna make things worse with the fp scanner. Terrible second hand market value. The prices go down like once you unpack that thing.

Please just stick to iPhone if Samsung makes you so vexed. I have used both iPhone 14 Pro and Galaxy S23, and it was pretty much the same experience despite the different software. Maybe it's just you. Also, I encourage that you use the fingerprint scanner as it is much better than the face recognition.
